L'endroit est très agréable un des meilleurs de Sainte Marie. On y mange très bien.
Mais le très grand point fort c'est le personnel qui est aux petits soins a e. Une énorme gentillesse.
Allez-y les yeux fermés.

IWe spent 6 nights at Mantis Soanambo hotel. The hotel location is close to the airport and airport pickup and transfers were smoothly with prior messaging. Hotel has an excellent restaurant with delicious relaxing dinner.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mantis Soanambo, and my overall experience was exceptional.
The property is beautifully located, with a picturesque setting, and the staff were both courteous and attentive throughout my stay.
The facilities were also of the highest standard. However, I did encounter a few minor issues with the cleanliness of the room. While the space itself was comfortable, I observed some dust on the TV, and the shower door displayed visible buildup of lime scale. Despite these minor concerns, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, with the hope that these details are addressed for future guests.

The Mantis hotel is the place to be. With a Team full of understanding. They really listen to their guests.
We received a warm welcome from Candy. One of the receptionists. Her professionalism, along with good communication from Ms Shana, ensured that everything went smoothly.
I'd like to thank the whole team at the bar and in the restaurant, run by Mrs Tahiana. But especially Mr Nicolas, who has great respect for us customers.
Thank you to the skipper, who was very kind, the guide on Île aux nattes, the person who manages the kayak, the chambermaids and the whole team, without exception.

I really enjoyed everything about staying in the resort. Amazing stuff, that are very helpful in every single situation and they even book activities for you that are outside of the hotel. Amazing spa centre where you can choose massages and we even had manicure and pedicure. We were most surprised by how delicious and fresh the food was. The stuff and chefs would even cook you for your request! We are definitely coming back

The team is very professional and friendly, the catering is at the top of the top. And the setting is beautiful. A must-see hotel on the island. Thanks to the Soanambo team, we will come back on and certain.

Summery: Awesome! totally clean. Yery secure. Great view sea side. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean, good beds, reliable air cond., mosquito net. Helpful General Manager, especially for group or business visits. He is supportive in many ways and to be trusted. Sounds not to much to say: More than fullfulled our expeciations. Only for swimming there is another place I like more. Check a cozy local bar nearby.

Our stay at Soanambo was absolutely fabulous right up until the end of our trip. We enjoyed a beautiful 4 days at the resort with friendly staff, amazing food, and beautiful surroundings. At 2:30 AM on our 4th night, my roommate was bitten by a MASSIVE 8-inch CENTIPEDE! It had been hiding under a towel. There was immediate swelling and fiery, intense pain. We tried calling the front desk several times, but no answer. We then ventured out all over the resort in the middle of the night looking around and calling out for help. There was NO ONE. We went back into the room and looked through all the hotel literature and there was no emergency number either. We continued calling the front desk, left a message, but no one ever answered nor did we receive a call back. At 6:00 AM we went down to the front desk and a local doctor came and administered an IV of medication. Fortunately we were granted our request for a new room. The manager had heard about this and checked in with us while we were eating lunch. She seemed surprised that no one was there at the front desk, but never once offered an apology or compensation. I was very impressed with the local people who worked there, but very disappointed in the management as I think her response was very poor and unprofessional. Overall, Soanambo is a lovely resort, but if you have even the slightest emergency at night, you are completely alone. Fellow travellers, take caution!

We loved our stay at Soanambo. We were greeted with floral crowns and fresh coconuts on our arrival to hotel. The dinners were great, every night was a new, well-crafted 4 course meal. Breakfast options were the same every morning but consistently delicious. Staff members were all high quality and especially our breakfast friend, Judicael, gave us good recommendations for activities on the island. Unfortunately I got pretty sick for two days but the staff were all very helpful and even brought meals up for my husband as he took care of me. Grounds were beautiful, the care and consideration by the grounds crews were apparent - can’t beat the views! Easy to rent a scooter or quad for the day. Only complaint would be that WiFi is only in main areas and not the rooms. Would definitely stay at Soanambo again and hopefully during whale season :) thank you Soanambo for a lovely honeymoon!

It is probably the best hotel in Ile Sainte Marie. Well furnished rooms, excellent staff. A bit on the expensive side, but it absolutely worth money. We had HB option where the dinner consists of 3 meals + dessert, it's all very tasty, so not easy to not to have it all.
The only thing you need to know is that there's almost no beach there. Yes, you can swim in the ocean, but there are a lot of arches and you have to bring some footwear to be safe.
Otherwise, it's a truly excellent property and is highly recommended!

Rained hard a couple days, most of the time great weather. Food was excellent (breakfast and dinner included in room cost). They were very willing to cater to your food preferences. The pool area was beautiful and relaxing and was the perfect place to lounge and read a book or watch the sun set over the ocean. We enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling right from the hotel (gear available to use for free). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Very attentive to your needs, especially at meals. However, they don't often approach you by the poolside to offer snacks or beverages, so if you want something you just need to walk up to the bar. Their English was "okay", although some language barriers. The manager speaks English pretty well. She was friendly. The room was comfortable, although the power went out a couple times each night requiring us to wake up and turn the air conditioner back on. Also, the bed was surrounded by a wooden ledge about a foot wide, which was not the most comfortable for getting in and out of bed (although it makes the bed look kind of attractive and artistic). Hotels.com stated that there is free bottled water in the room, however this was not the case. The mini-bar in the room has only a few options-water and a few sodas. They picked us up from the town where our boat ride dropped us off and also gave us an early-morning ride back to the port town when we left, free of charge.

Bref, tout est bien !
