Pros:

Location excellent. Have stayed previously. Room very satisfactory position

Cons:

Rooms were cold. Asked about heat and was told it didn't come on until after 5.00pm. Had to wear our coats if in the room day time. Wasn't on in morning either.. No food after 7.30pm which we would normally dine. Was told at reception "you don't expect the kitchen to stay open for 2 people " I was speaking to two other American guests in a restaurant who also were disappointed at the food arrangements.

Not the fault of the staff
Pros:

Before you read this review I must thank Patricia and all her staff for trying to make a very disappointed customer happy. These people are too good for a hotel that struggles to be 3rd rate not 3star.

Booked this hotel as I have stayed here before and it is in town centre but mostly for the Market House Restaurant. So disappointed on all fronts the restaurant only opens Friday and Saturday( not on the wed site),could not charge anything to the room (bar or restaurant) even after asking them to take a pre authorization on my card ,I was told it was a carry over from covid (6 years ago) really?.
The room was on the first floor (very noisy) over the bar ect.but was told the music finished at 17.30 OK could suffer that. It did but started again at 21.30, along with what sounded like a subway train running alongside our room, called reception and told we had a noisy room and offered to move us (wait for it)
to another hotel The central hotel which is owned by the same group which we declined, also there was no heating in the room but that was the least of our disappointments.
