Staff very friendly and helpful,property and rooms very clean and tidy including gardens,parking was good

Had a lovely three night stay at this beautifully located Hotel.
Staff were friendly & mainly efficient.
Nice spacious room. A few things needed attention.
Bath side panel, was very mouldy.
Extractor fan was completely covered in thick dust. Very wasteful having individual plastic bottles for the shower & too much paper wastage.
Breakfast was average .
Used the indoor swimming pool, which was ok.
Overall a nice stay, but a few little attention to details could improve the ambiance.

Wonderful, historic hotel. Great view from room. But step up from entry and small bed were disappointing. Food was so-so.

Lovely people, excellent food and lovely position.

Such an easy place to spend quality time with people we love. We had an excellent Sunday roast with the older generation, met friends and enjoyed the cafe by the sea and used as a base to visit other friends.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor pool was welcome and clean. Breakfast included was a great value and good choice of food

Lovely superior room with an uninterrupted sea view

Lovely location, efficient and friendly staff.

This is an historic older hotel with one of the most beautiful ocean views in the entire Devon region. Their front patio is wonderful to have a drink or light meal on and the English breakfast is quite good.. On the slightly down side, their mattress was too firm for us and the bathroom had a retrofitted bath/shower combination which was quite high off the floor (one needs to be quite careful not to slip in the shower or the fall could be dangerous).

A lovely hotel in a splendid environment. Lovely views a cross the bay. The only negative was difficulty in parking.

Lovely hotel. Stayed for 2 nights. Lovely food breakfast & evening meal. The only gripe was the parking was quite tight. We had to leave the car parked & got taxis for the two nights we went out.

Excellent stay in the hotel. Would definitely recommend because of the location, service and delicious food.

Lovely welcome from reception and very helpful with information. Breakfast and evening meal at the hotel was excellent room at the back of the hotel was generally quiet apart from the creaky floorboards above us. Ideal spot for exploring the coastal paths and walking into the marina will definitely return.

This hotel was amazing - room was beautiful and paid to have a sea view which was incredible. Breakfast was lovely. The only downside for us was Day 3 when there was a wedding at the hotel. Our room was over the function room so could hear the music and the guests kept us awake standing outside under our room windows drinking. We couldn’t sleep until everyone had departed. The hotel did refund us some money but it dampened the whole experience for us. Would go back but not if there was a wedding on!

Although the food in the dining room was very good better on some days than others (breakfast and dinner) some of the staff were more helpful and pleasant than others it was very strange to have different waiters every day there was no building of any rapore which you usually have in a hotel

Really lovely hotel with great views. Breakfast a real treat. Rooms are a very generous size and a sea view is beautiful. Don’t like the policy of authorising £150 on your bank card on check in. Not released for 5 to 10 days is not acceptable.
