Marsh Farm Hotel

In the moment we arrived we received room 45 which was in a separate part of the hotel a annex like situation the WiFi didn’t work we had one set of towels between us and the toilet was dirty with well what you’d find after someone’s been to the toilet and not flushed I raised these concerns and got moved to room 38 which was main part of the hotel the room was Baltic cold the radiators didn’t work and the electric fan was broken they replaced this although still not adequate to heat a room that size the pillows are extremely thin in regards to a comparison 3 yes not two but 3 pillows would make one standard pillow you would buy from a normal store also the mattress what in the spring gods name is that made out of because it was hard as the flintstones bed overall I’m shocked and mortified last thing to mention although I feel like I could list many more things but don’t want to because well nobody will read this but however the last thing we had a old fire alarm in are room and out of nowhere like it was possessed at 22:30 it went off for 5 minutes need I say more hotel or whatever this place is is Hell

Pictures look better than the actual place, rooms are dated, facilities were terrible, room smelt of wet dog and urine, TV was smaller than my laptop screen, leads plugged into extension leads.

The room was dirty. There was dust on skirting boards, television table and Bathroom. Floors hadn't been cleaned properly. Wife was so upset that she wouldn't stay there. We went and booked into a Premier Inn. Bath mat stain on side of the bath. Kettle still full of old water. To be honest nothing like the pictures, was a total disappointment. Although we were offered an alternative room, we were totally disappointed and decided ro cut our losses and go somewhere else. My good lady was brokenhearted and the onlybthing to do was move.

The building is run down the rooms are not very clean the carpets smell very small Tv
There are pot holes in the car park it goes on and on.

Informed them we were driving up for to an important wedding. Could not get into the room early to enable us to get changed and no taxi booked to take us to wedding, even though these were asked for at the time of booking. When we arrived no one in reception just a mobile number to call. When I called them, they said they had text me to inform of these things. I have NEVER received a text message.. They said they close at 11pm and wanted to know what time we would be back, said as it was a wedding we were not sure but would contact them. They then said they would leave a key outside for us somewhere. Then they called my wife at 10.30 to ask what time we were returning. This is not the type of customer service we would expect.
The place is very tired looking complete with holes in the carpet in reception area.! To the point we paid for another hotel which provided the service we expect.

It was a little tired and breakfast was very basic. I asked if they had a bar and they said no. But they did, it just wasn’t open, they could have said that

It had stained bedding, rotting wood, black mould in the bathroom. The dining tables were dirty, the windows filthy and cobwebbed. Rubbish and loose tobacco in the drawers.

Dirty, run down and no facilities.

We had horrible neighbours that kicked off all night until about 3am. There was pubes and blood in the bath. Also the breakfast was almost non existent.

Very poorly maintained. Room and bathroom were disgusting, dust everywhere and dead bugs, crumbs all over the floor from previous guest. Other than the bed everything was not clean, bathroom was poor. Carpets were disgusting throughout. Said breakfast included yet the options included bread and fruit. Very poor would not return

Obviously a family had been in beforehand as sticky finger prints all over the mirror, drawer full of candy wrappers. Door security? Only one lock worked and and the one by handle in middle of the door did not lock. Restaurant not open for dinner but.

Good location, but not happy with the facilities
