From our arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived very late at night and were exhausted after 27 hours of being awake traveling and they made the check-in process easy for us. The breakfast selection was simple, but good and enough food. The gym is located a very short walk from the hotel and had all the basics, which was great. Many sights within Centro is walking distance from the hotel and even a supermarket (Angeloni) is very close to the hotel (you can see it from the road infront of the hotel). We rented a car and they parked it in the hotel’s underground parking each time and brought it out when we needed it - so parking was indeed safe and the service was simple and good.
As we’re celebrating our (10 year) wedding anniversary on this trip they made it special for us with a lovely chocolate cake in our room.
- There was no complimentary bottled water just to start off your stay. This would be a suggestion that they perhaps consider this as many hotels we’ve traveled to all over the world always gives at least 2 small bottles of water as complimentary when you arrive as most people are tired from traveling and usually thirsty. There is a paid minibar/fridge (which we understand and is standard most places), but like with us who arrived very late (after 01:00 am from our flight), stores were not open.
- Parking on Booking.com indicated R$ 35 per day and when we were there it was R$ 38 per day. Perhaps update this on Booking.com
- We were charged tourism tax upon check-out and this should have been indicated upon check-in and on Booking.com (which many places do). It was not much (almost R$ 5 per day), but it’s good to just be transparent about things like this.
