Home2Suites has great staff and is clean.
Pros:

The breakfast every day was amazing! They often had fruit, warm cookies, snacks, sitting on the counter for people to take.
The entire staff in particular, Norma, were very helpful, pleasant and happy.
Rooms were spacious; beds comfy. It was nice having a full-size refrigerator for the week.

Cons:

Well, our room in particular could’ve used a little maintenance. When we arrived at our room, the door was open and it wouldn’t close. The bathroom door would not close. My husband had to adjust
both and at least got them so that we didn’t have to worry about open doors while we were gone. The ironing board was broke. One leg was completely off. My husband fixed that too.
Housekeeping should’ve reported these issues prior to our arrival-especially the door issue.

We would stay here again with the we are paying for valet parking.
Pros:

Home2Suites were within 2 blocks to the San Antonio Riverwalk. Very walkable.

Cons:

Parking. We paid a lot for valet parking which made sense to us to do it but it is not our normal operating mode.

Great location! Breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus.The bed was comfortable, and the hot shower was perfect. Overall, it had everything you need for a relaxing vacation. What I liked the most was definitely the location, one step outside and everything is right there.

Cons:

There’s no free parking,only valet, which costs about $45. The biggest issue was at check-out we had to wait around 40 minutes for our car due to the rush by 11AM. It would be helpful if the front desk informed guests to request their car in advance to avoid long waits.

They gave my room to someone else and could not accommodate us so they sent us to a sister hotel that was awful. They gave me no solution and basically said it was not their fault.

We had a fantastic stay overall. Staff were great!
Pros:

Location was fantastic! Breakfast was okay. Room was very nice and clean but there was a lot of street noise. The only reason I didn’t give as high on the bathroom was that they forgot to give us any bath towels. Housekeeping brought them immediately when we called.
