Used condoms behind bed ( staff when notified where very nice and alilogetic ) on returning home a had a few bites on my lower and upper legs .this morning my brother called complaining about the same could only have been bed bugs .but it wouldnt out me off going back but ad be majing surw bed and room were spotless before staying ..staff are first class

The rooms are a bit tired but very clean
After check in I actually think I got a good deal, we had a room with the river view which was great, facilities were as standard, hotel it's self was clean and tidy the problem I found was room key didn't always work and upon check in four people behind the front desk and we had to wait until other guests were checked in/out customer service should prioritise the guest. On the other hand the breakfast staff were happy and prompt, breakfast was a bit pricey for what was available but cheaper if you book it on line by a couple of pounds apart from that very enjoyable stay and I if I was in the area I would stay again.

The bar wasn't the best for a drink
I had a quay side view. The room had a very good quality feel to it. Generous tea and coffee making condiments section. Right by the Quay and the bridges of Newcastle for me to drone. Parking was £8.50 for 24 hours on site, but limited to about 50 cars.
Clean, welcoming
Parking was misleading as wrong postcode for the car park as an alternative as the hotel car park was full.
The lock on the inside of the room was broken which left a sense of insecurity but nobody could access without a key
Breakfast excellent, location good - 15 minutes' walk along river into city.
Somewhat limited parking in hotel car park, but that's to be expected. Our space was gone after we left it for a couple of hours in afternoon.
the bathroom was mouldy in places, the bath was falling apart. one of the towels already had a stain on as if it hadn’t even been washed. the floor could have had a more in depth hoover and also the quilt on the bed already had a mark on it not from us
