Pros:

Poor amenities for a Michelin key hotel. Poor wifi. Items listed on the website not available. Staff not very friendly

Amazing stay at a lighthouse
Pros:

Amazing stay at the lighthouse. It was a bit tight (which we were warned about from staff), but loved it. We will be back. Amazing staff. Great breakfast. The best hotel in Alesund by far!

The best hotel in Norway - Hotel Brosundet
Pros:

A beautiful hotel located right in the heart of Brosundet, highly recommended.
The statt are genuine, friendly, and service-minded; with a fire in the fireplace, you feel truly welcome. Delicious breakfast, a lovely spa area, and a well-equipped gym. I highly recommend it.

Cons:

No bottled water in the room, half- filled tea/coffee containers, only 10 tv channels ( 9 in Norwegian!) dirty lamp shades, poor quality bath robes, badly tasting weak coffee in the breakfast area from a large pre-brewed batch ( no other coffee options), tiny room.
For £230 per night for a regular room, I had higher expectations.

Pros:

Flott bygg, fine fellesområder, godt utvalg av spisesteder og barer i umiddelbar nærhet og nydelig frokost. Spa-avdeling, med badstue og mulighet for fjordbad var en positiv overraskelse!

Cons:

Kjøpte middag på hotellet, en fiskesuppe som var ganske smakløs. Rommet var ganske trangt, men sengen var komfortabel. Litt dårlig ventilasjon, så vi åpnet vinduet på natta, men da ble det en god del støy (lørdag kveld).
