Very elegant hotel, the staff is exceptional.

Beautiful lobby, great coffee shop with wonderful options right in the lobby, fantastic staff, easy walkable location, room was clean, towels for the beach were easy to grab, there was always a smiling face ready to help!

❤️❤️❤️ What a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a birthday celebration time I had with me, myself and God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything was epiccccccccccccccccc, from my dining at Luau Larry's and Avalon Grille to the shopping at various shops. The highlight was relaxing on the beach and the nice leisure daily and evening strolls were just what I needed. I met some really friendly people and one that shared my birthday🥰🥰🥰. The best rest you can ever dream of was at hotel atwater, top notch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Customer service excellent, room excellent, price excellent and a very beautiful hotel👊👊👊. I want to thank everyone for treating me with my royalty and I can't wait for my next time. Beautiful hotel

Rooms are small but good if you don’t plan on staying in. No microwave to heat up food. But very clean. Customer service ok in the night shift.

This place was amazing. I love the modern but classy look & feel it has. Chris (front desk) was super helpful & gave excellent customer service. He even gave a free desert to my husband for his bday.
The room was quaint & cute. The location was perfect, near the entertainment, beach & local markets. Would definitely stay again. 👌🏽

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional, and what stood out most was the incredible staff. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth. It immediately set the tone for the entire experience. They had us laughing, made us feel completely at ease, and hit the perfect and rare balance of being both highly professional and authentically kind.

Every interaction felt thoughtful and intentional. Dylan at the front desk went above and beyond, helping us plan our time on the island with such enthusiasm and attention to detail and it genuinely elevated our trip. Oliver took exceptional care of us throughout our stay, always anticipating what we might need before we even asked and making everything feel seamless. Jeremy, was such a sweet young man and even offered to assist us and transport our luggage to the ferry port. Joel who assisted us directly, was equally outstanding. He was incredibly patient, gracious, and accommodating when we asked for multiple items to be delivered to our room accidentally on separate occasions rather than all at once. There was also a wonderful woman at the front desk who took the time to share stories about the hotel’s history with such passion that it added a meaningful, personal layer to our visit.

Beyond the service, the hotel itself was spotless and carried a unique charm that made it feel inviting.

Overall, the experience felt top tier, and that is largely a testament to the excellence of the team. This is the kind of place you remember and return to.

The Atwater was one of the original hotels built by the Wrigley Family. The staff was very helpful - The hotel clean and has charm. We had an Accessible Room, I am not sure if it was because of needing to leave room for a wheel chair but the room would have been a lot better had there been a cabinet, dresser or at least a 2nd chair. I do not know: if we were to have gotten a room with a queen bed (a smaller bed) would there have been room for furniture ? As to location, central to town about a block back from the waterfront - we were on the top floor so saw some of the harbor but looking across some rather unattractive roof of another building. There was a mini fridge and ice bucket - surprised no in room coffee service.

Great location, friendly staff

The hotel is nice and situated steps away from the bay. It supposedly reopened a year ago after years of renovation. The customer service is standard, not the best but not the worst. The rooms were smaller than it looked in the pictures but my main complaint is cleanliness. Some of our sheets had stains or dirt on them. The decorative pillows had black stains on it. It’s obvious they aren’t cleaned in between guests. We set those aside and off the beds. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant onsite either. During the day it’s fine since we can dine elsewhere but at night, it gets harder to find snacks once the eateries close.

I liked the location, the room, and the comfiness.
