Veltur Turiya Hotel

The 2-3 staff members are good and deserve praise for running the hotel in its rundown condition. The hotel website gives the impression that it has recently been renovated with indoor pool, spa, and gym. None of that exists. We stayed in this hotel 5 years ago and it was clean and pristine. We were told then that it was to be renovated. The website and Expedia description are misleading at best and realistically lying. Some examples include black mold in the bathroom tub, imitation wood flooring that is water damaged and curled at the edges that caused us to trip, dust everywhere, filth around the headboard, windows with baked on calcium deposits, weeds all around the property, filthy hallways. The final straw that broke the camel’s back was smell of sulfur coming from the bathroom drains on two separate nights that made us leave the room and use masks. We were told that this is due to a faulty sewage system that dumps treated sewage into the ocean due to incomplete work by the city. It apparently affects many buildings in the area. To make things worse, Expedia was worthless in their attempts to contact the hotel management for a refund. Expedia offered me $30 for my troubles which I find insulting! I can’t believe Expedia can’t come up with the refund regardless of what the fine print says. Why should I use your services? Let me know if you need pictures

Veltur turiya otel kurumsal bir otelden çok pansiyon gibi değerlendirilebilir. Kahvaltı ise açık büfe değil kahavaltı tabağı şeklinde (peynir üç çeşit, domates salatalık ve reçel bal tereyağı) bu anlamda hayal kırıklığı. Sahile sıfır olduğu için kendisine ait bir plaj alanı da var gayet güzel ancak küçük. otel tam dolu olduğunda yer bulunması zor olacaktır. çalışanlar güleryüzlü ilgili ancak dediğim gibi burası daha çok pansiyonu andırmakta. Benim bir daha tercih edeceğim bir otel değil.

Hotel was ok. Looking a bit tired after having been here when it first opened about 9 years ago. Breakfast could be improved using local yoghurt & fresh fruit. The jetty was not manned whilst we were there. A few maintenance issues in room. Toilet roll holder loose, bathroom tap needs fixing, Wi-Fi very intermittent. Kettle, tea & coffe missing in rooms. For a 4 star hotel, these items are necessary.

Great location in Turgutreis. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall great stay.

Das Hotel ist für meine Ansprüche ausreichend gut.
Zimmer und Bett haben dir richtige Größe, man kann sich bewegen.
Nur die Nasszelle (Badewanne) könnte mal etwas mehr reinigen und den Schimmelbefall in den Fugen entfernen.
Das Frühstück finde ich sehr gut und auch ausreichend.
Fazit, man kann jederzeit das Hotel buchen.
Die Renovierung der Bäder soll in kürze beginnen.

I liked everything especially the private beach deck and the manager Alif great person and super manager very hard working and she loves her job

Excellent pool and private jetty/pier. Well serviced by staff. Excellent food. Friendly and accommodating staff. Five minute walk to restaurants, shops and market. Ten minute walk to marina. Housekeeping excellent. All towels and bathroom requisites replenished daily. Rooms would benefit from redecoration.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, doing everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The room was everything you need and quiet, with a beautiful view over the ocean.

Spa services are qnique...

This hotel is the perfect choice if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. The staff are most helpful and always eager to please. It is only a 10 minute walk to Turgutreis centre and marina. The hotel swimming pool is spotlessly clean and although we did not use them on this occasion, the hotel has excellent spa facilities and indoor swimming pool. There is also a small private pier which is ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the sea. Breakfast is exceptional. We only ate dinner there once and that too was excellent. We would recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning next year.

Very clean, easy check in and out, professional staff. Right by the beach. Good breakfast. Perfect for queit, peaceful vacation. It is close to the Turgutreis center, only 10 minutes walk,where you can find lots of restaurants, shops etc. I highly recommend this hotel..

I was on a long weekend break with my 8-yr old son and as my own villa in Gumusluk was undergoing redecoration, decided to book my stay at Turiya Hotel. Apart from the initial challenge of finding it on a late night arrival, everything else about this hotel was SUPERB, especially the hospitality of all staff, its panoramic sea front views and the restaurant / breakfast service. Our hotel manager, Kenan, was top class and went out of his way everytime to grant us his time and solve our local issues with scooter rental, car hire return etc. WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK GIVEN THE CHANCE !!!!! Hotel is only 2 years old so in good condition, rooms have balconies overlooking pool and sea. There is no beach but decking into the sea. Although expensive compared to similar hotels elsewhere, I was there during high season and local holidays so price reflected this. Staff typically Turkish in terms of level of service and understanding but all were pleasant. Breakfast included which was a little bland and the same each day, although it sufficed. Hotel was about 10 minutes walk into centre of Turgutreis along seafront.
