Pros:

Super experience, Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Posada. La chambre suite très spacieuse avec une grande terrasse avec une petite piscine et vue sur l'océan. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec du choix. Le parking à proximité facilite le stationnement. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité de l'hôtel. Je recommande vivement.

The included breakfast is delicious. The staff were very friendly. The hotel's interior is pleasant and beautiful, decorated with live plants.

Cons:

I was not aware that if you book the garden room, you need to cross the busy road every time you go to the beach. Also, the room is so close to the road and nearby restaurants that you can hear loud music and cars. And microscopic-sized insects are walking on the walls and furniture. They are harmless unless you leave the food open in the room.

Wunderschön individuell!

Ein wunderschönes individuelles Hotel! Wir hatten uns eine Suite mit Mega-Ausblick und eigenem kleinen Tauchbecken auf dem Balkon gegönnt, was wirklich ein Traum war! Den Sonnenaufgang konnten wir entweder vom Bett oder vom Balkon aus sehen! Super tolles Frühstück, kein Buffet sondern direkt für den Gast zubereitet. Direkt an einem der wenigen öffentlichen Strände gelegen mit wenigen hoteleigenen Liegen besticht La Posada del Sol wirklich durch seine Individualität. Das Hotel ist in der umgebenen Hotellandschaft von 0-8-15-Hotels ein Kleinod! Das Personal ist super freundlich, es gibt einen Kühlschrank, in dem man eigene Getränke deponieren kann, und am Strand gibt es auch Restaurants, die einem Essen und Getränke liefern. Karibik pur! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Cons:

Leider war es während zweier Nächte sehr laut von den nahegelegenen Clubs her. (Die eine Nacht war Silvester, das war okay, ging aber bis 5h morgens. Die andere Nacht war ein normaler Samstag, da ging es bis 4h und war einfach von den Bässen her immens.)

Exactly what we’re looking for and more
Pros:

After reading the reviews we were a bit apprehensive but what a gem! It’s exactly what we were looking for: A boutique hotel and not a resort vibe, by the beach, with ocean views and quiet. The beach is small, not private but we have it to ourselves in the morning. Having breakfast by the ocean was an absolute treat. The design was elegant. We could easily have spent a few more days here. The staff are so helpful. Getting around isn’t easy but that’s generally the case in Tulum, taxis are extortionately expensive, but that’s not the fault of the hotel. The ruins are easy to get to - just a short walk to the park entrance and there’s a shuttle bus that can take you there and to the other beaches.

Acceso a la playa con mirador. La habitación y terrasa con hamaca.

Cons:

Me costó mucho encontrarlo de noche, aparentemente hay que entrar por una joyería donde se puede ver el cartel pequeño con el nombre del hotel, pero al ver que es una joyería no te imaginas que es por ahí.
También el baño y la habitación no están separados, hay una pared a la mitad, así que no tiene privacidad.

Gald we stayed here.
Pros:

The place is gorgeous. The room was lovely. The breakfast was a tad small for the teen travelling with me, but the quality of it was spot on.

Cons:

The only downside here was out of the hotel's control. Sometimes the beach out front was terrific, sometimes the water & waves had a lot of trash & seaweed in it. One day, it was so much that it was just sad. However, the public beach down the street didn't have the same problems.

A good place to stay in Tulum by the beach
Pros:

Everyone is really friendly and always available to help. It is across the road from the beach, very handy.
The actual rooms are stunning, they lack a space to hung clothes.
I would go back but taking a beach room :-)

Cons:

It’s a bit noisy and smells of damp
