Hotel ticked all my boxes & I will definitely return again when I am in the area.
Pros:

I am not a breakfast person but they had a very good choice & I found all that I required. Hotel in a quiet location but with easy reach of the A303.

Cons:

The stone covered car park & EV charger not working.

Step into the 1980s
Pros:

Situation and peaceful

Cons:

Although this is my second stay due to convenience en route, this room had an unusual ben setup meaning they were very insecure. Not good. The only other comment is it is like stepping back into the 1980s with the decor. For me the heavy dark wood of the skirting and dado rail and no USB sockets seem old. Strange because despite it looking dated, it is very good condition. Iron board, and trouser press???? Wow. But if they can fill the hotel then so be it. Who am I to judge. However sadly I will not return again. Lovely staff and food is brilliant.

The experience surpassed our expectations and we had relaxing and peaceful getaway
Pros:

We were absolutely delighted with our recent stay at the Hollies. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we were in for a memorable experience. The staff deserve a special mention - not only were they incredibly friendly, but they also went out of their way to be helpful, making sure that nothing was too much trouble. Our Junior Suite was the perfect retreat, offering a lovely spot to bask in the glorious sunshine and unwind with a refreshing drink and a good book. Could not have asked for better weather so we were extremely lucky to be able to experience and use the patio. It certainly set the tone for a relaxing getaway.

Breakfast was another highlight, with a fantastic array of choices available. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic continental breakfast or something home-cooked to order, there’s plenty to satisfy every palate. Dinner on both nights was equally impressive—each dish was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented, truly elevating the whole dining experience.

Overall, every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. Thank you for making our trip so special!

Nothing

Comfortable overnight stay
Pros:

A nice, slightly quaint hotel just off the A303. Room was comfortable and quiet enough. Food in the restaurant was excellent at dinner and fine at breakfast. The grounds are very pleasant, and parking was easy.

Cons:

Service at dinner was a bit slow - suspect that the kitchen was rather overwhelmed.

Friendly helpful staff, would definately stay there again if I was in the area
Pros:

staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful on arrival. Rooms where a good size and clean. Choice of breakfast was good and service at breakfast was first class. You can also help yourself to fruit, yoghurts, a choice of cerals and other breads and jams all included in the price. I have stayed at the Hollies before and would definately recommend it to anyone

Cons:

No fault of the Hollies but because of the nature of my stay I didn't get the chance to use the fitness suite. All in all, I can't find any fault with my stay at the Hollies hotel
