The room was dated and the wall on the left hand side needs painting as there is residue of a liquid that has been spilled quite high up and across the whole wall. Skirting boards need painting in the bathroom.

A very good small hotel
Pros:

This is a really nice family run hotel near the centre of Oakham. The town has a lot of history, is well worth visiting and is next to Rutland Water which is England's largest reservoir.

Cons:

Nothing at all.
