The building was quaint, with a little stone walkway to get to it. It was close enough enough to the town to walk in and go to the pub.
This is an exactly a negative, but, on the night we were there, there was kind of a rowdy wedding going on. There were people still yelling in the street until after midnight. But they told us that it was a very unusual occurrence and I think that’s probably true. it wasn’t a problem for us. We enjoyed getting a taste of local culture!
Excellant breakfast, room very clean, adequate supplies of incidentals, tea and biscuits, comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice location, room was nice and clean, only bug bear that our room was on the main road , could be noisy with traffic.
Not too big, staff were very attentive and polite,and not too far to walk into the town, definitely stay again, nice little gem 😁
All staff very friendly. Greeting at reception was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast staff again were very friendly with an excellent breakfast. Great location if working in Oakham and easy walk in the town.
