The breakfast room was soul less. One or two half dead plants struggling with the heat. Two long higher shelves could house a variety of local potters work which would support local crafts people, bring colour into the room and space for pictures also. These could be sold on by you on a sale or return basis. Generally the interior design lacks imagination and originality for such a historic town as Salisbury.
Boring prints on the corridors and bedroom walls, suggest use local artists not mass produced prints. No cushions on the bed or chair, difficult to sit up on the bed to watch TV. Duvet to small for super king size bed. No lavatory brush in the bathroom or shower cap.
Birchell tea dispenser but no Birchell teas! Local English company, BA use them.
Excellent customer service. Sophia was brilliant from the moment we entered the building. I took my 6 year old with me, she suffers from asthma. I asked to change rooms due to the strong smell of new carpet and Sophia remained polite and extremely helpful. My daughter was blown away by her kindness.
Angie also offered my 6 year old a takeaway breakfast as we were in a rush to leave. Totally unexpected! My daughter kept praising the staff on our way home.
Cleaner was very respectful too.
Perhaps oat milk in the room, but Sophia did give us as much oat milk as we needed.
The radiator was noisy for my daughter with sensitive needs, but lovely Sophia gave us a new one.
A warm friendly welcome, all of the staff were exceptionally helpful, the room was comfortable, spotless and very quiet.

Great location and a short 7 min walk into Salisbury Parking was great and reasonably priced. The hotel has recently been upgraded. The rooms were beautiful decorated and very comfortable.
The breakfast were excellent and freshly cooked with a great selection of continental and cooked breakfast items.
All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Victoria was on duty in the restaurant for breakfast. She was excellent, running the restaurant efficiently and quickly, anticipating everyone’s needs with a smile. Victoria worked very hard and was a credit to your hotel.
Nothing
Bed and linen quality
Smell in the corridor
Very close to city centre for walking in.
The hotel looks like it has been refurbished but there was only a wall electric heater in the room and there was not heat in the bathroom so the tiling never really dried nor did the mirrors defog even after a few hours.
The location was excellent, the breakfast was good. We had a comfortable, welcoming and pleasant stay.
Some refurbishment still required
I had an interconnecting door not with my friend and had to listen to the couple next door - it was a bit embarrassing as not very soundproof
Room was lovely
Receptionist rude had already paid and still requesting payment , not welcoming at all.
Clean, friendly people, nice coffee, spacious room.
There was some noise from boiler at night.
