Strandhill Lodge and Suites

Really nice place, probably the best we stayed at while in Ireland. Beautiful view, super friendly and helpful staff. The Venue restaurant next door was great also!

We were welcomed at the reception and any questions we had were answered. The hotel is located in a great area with restaurants and pubs short walk away.

Basic rooms but everything you need and the views from our balcony were iconic. Gorgeous pub and lovely restaurant right next door. Lovely staff

Strandhill Lodge is the perfect stay. No fuss, fre to come and go, lovely healthy breakfasts ( nothing cooked) rooms are spotless, great views to the sea. No complaints at all.

Went to strandhill for surfing lessons…strandhill lodges and suits was the perfect overnight… really good breakfast

A wecoming boutique hotel with great dining right next door and large comfortable rooms with balcony and sea view. Highly recommend.

This hotel, is pretty well perfect, lovely rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Do not be put off by "lack" cooked breakfast. What is available is far better and excellent range, quality than so many other hotels.

In a lovely convenient location, no corners cut. This is how it should be done.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It’s definitely not quiet during wedding season - sounds carries throughout the hotel. Restaurant staff were not friendly but the food and drinks were great. Front desk staff were lovely.

Excellent location and very friendly staff

We were unable to maintain a comfortable room temperature. Opening the windows to lower temperature, only to have it rise again to 75 degrees. Too hot to sleep, especially on the overly soft mattress. Overall, every unpleasant stay.

Beautiful water views with a private patio. Quiet, clean and good breakfast. Would recommend.

The front desk staff were so nice and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast coffee was amazing and the room so comfortable! I loved our stay!

So, the room was excellent. The facility itself has a bit of a motel feel, but that's made up for by how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is, going as far as to offer plenty of suggestions for dining, shopping, etc. I'd probably go 4 stars on this location, if it wasn't for the service really going above and beyond and making my stay really that much more enjoyable.

I have not been to a Lodge where it felt like I was family and that no question was too outlandish. The front desk was very helpful. The view from our room was outstanding and restful. I would return in a heartbeat.
