Efficient and friendly staff. Convenient location.
Unfortunately room was far too hot - even with a decent fan.
Staff was friendly and really helpful. I like the interia design, very cosy.
The rooms were gorgeous, attention to detail was there. The bed was so comfy and the decor just lovely, the walk in shower was a treat!
The breakfast was yum. The dinners at the pub were really not great, but this is a chain so I know a lot of the food isnt fresh, just a shame when it's not exactly cheap. The calamari had a silly amount of salt on it. I could just tell it was brakes brothers grub.

Younger staff not very attentive yo detail like offering sauces when bringing dinner.

Dinner was a bit chaotic but that was because there was a show on in the garden and the staff struggled to get all the food orders out in a timely fashion
Great location for walking the Surrey Hills or getting to the South Coast. All of the staff were super friendly. Plenty of free parking with electric charger points. Food overall was excellent, very good breakfast in the morning and the food in the bar/restaurant was really delicious. Lovely sace to sit outside as well.
It was a last minute booking and it seemed like the room hadn't been checked before our arrival and it was pretty dusty especially the bathroom. The room was very hot but if did have a great fan for us to use!
Very happy with our choice. Nicely decorated pub. Quality furnishings everywhere. Bedroom was a good size, as was the bed. The pub/hotel is situated close to Butser Hill, so great location for a walk or a run. Clanfield village an easy walk. Petersfield a 10 min drive. Breakfasts were great. Our evening meal excellent. All in all a great couple of days.

Had a Wedding function on, seemed a little busy for the staff and dinner menu was missing lots of items once we decided to eat.
Breakfast was good. Apart from the flies.
Room was very hot. No AC. One fan. Asked for another one and was told only one per room.
Dinner on the Friday was a disaster as only had our starter when the kitchen had a burst pipe so no more food.
That was not their fault but the way we were told by a waitress was basically that's it sorry no more food.
No offer or gesture when checking out of allowance for the missed meal.
The flies were a massive problem. They were everywhere. again it might just be the area but there must be some way to combat them.
We loved the bedroom, it was a big and comfortable bed. We also loved the powerful shower and modern bathroom. Everything was very clean and tidy, and we appreciated the welcome drink and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, each aspect was of very high quality. We would definitely stay here again, great value for money.

Just the flies - sat inside and outside and there were dozens and dozens of them, that’s the only criticism - maybe get some of those Zap lamps set up.
