Lovely location.
Nothing
A very clean well run hotel with a group of staff that all do their best to give great service. A friendly and professional atmosphere.
Very friendly staff, excellent customer service and the rooms were just perfect
Plenty of parking, friendly welcome, nice room, great bathroom, excellent dinner and breakfasts.
Difficult to say, if I had a slight issue, the bed mattress was a bit firm for my liking.
Great Sunday Lunch. Really pleasent waiting staff. Well worth a visit on a Sunday.
The bed was comfy. Nice decor. Great shower. Coffee machine. Pub
Nothing
Nice rooms, comfortable best, nice decor.
Would like better pillows - personal preference
Comfortable stay. The bar & kitchen staff were clearly stretched to cover a busy weekend. The food was was fine, but rather expensive for what you had.
Advertised as a ‘Live & Loud 5 Nations’ I had to ask for sound on the tv (not alone).
Very nice Pub Hotel, at the last minute we booked for NYE Very nice room, lovely bathroom. we enjoyed a nice evening in the pub with food and live entertainment. Food was fine, The Pub hotel also welcomes Dogs. Nice car park and there a nice views of the countryside from outside the pub which would be great for the summer months. The car park also has EV charging points for those that need them. The breakfast the following morning was great, full english for me and egg choice.
slight downside was soundproofing in rooms, some guest had a very noisy barking dog that just wouldn't shut up, it didn't seem to bother the owners but it did us (and I'm a Dog owner). Also a guest putting the tv on in the early hours in the adjacent room did not help with sleep! But I would stay again.
Some Bar drink prices we thought were high but i know the industry is under pressure.
The room was great, nice comfy beds, well appointed bathroom, evening meal, beer and breakfast all very good.
If you sat up in bed, it would slide across the room.
Friendly attentive staff and good customer service.
Room was far too hot and radiator was not adjustable.
A fabulous weekend away at The Hog, a recently refurbished establishment with lovely food and drink, to notch rooms and awesome staff.
Very friendly and relaxed checking in process and great service from Ryan to sort us a table as I'd forgotten to do so! Rooms were well equipped with nice touches like a fridge, fresh milk, superb showers and very comfortable beds.
Food and drink was of a very high quality and a varied choice including a beautiful roast on the Sunday. My chicken was delicious as was my partner's beef. Great tasting veg too, a very commendable chef! A good choice of wine and beer made for a very good dining experience.
A large free car park and no outside noise makes this a very relaxing venue.
Finally and most importantly, the top rate staff are the icing on the cake! A special mention for the breakfast team, Gemma and the awesome Ryan making us already want to go back.
Warm and friendly
Very nice pub and hotel, the rooms are very cosy and the pub has a great menu and food selection.
Our dog also stayed and it was a great touch with the dog bowl, blanket and treats in the room for him ☺️
The staff were really friendly and helpful in arranging a room and bath for us. Would stay again!
Other than the walls being a bit thin it was a perfect stay!
