ottima posizione in quartiere residenziale al di là del fiume rispetto al centro storico (raggiungibile a piedi), che la sera è un po' decadente e desolato. la struttura è elegante e con begli spazi comuni, e la camera era dotata di tutto il necessario, letto comodo. buona colazione.
lo staff è composto da una sola persona, che dunque non può avere alcuna flessibilità rispetto agli ospiti (ad esempio: farti appoggiare in camera le valige prima di pagare, anche se arrivi dopo un viaggio in macchina di 10 ore e pur avendo prenotato con booking, che garantisce a priori tutti i dati.. compresa la carta di credito; all'interno della fascia oraria prevista, non obbligarti a fissare un orario preciso e inderogabile per la colazione, anche se sei in vacanza o hai necessità di partire a una certa ora...). la proprietà dovrebbe decisamente considerare di implementare lo staff, almeno in estate / l'ingresso del parcheggio non è segnalato su strada, e poiché la strada è ad alta percorrenza, abbiamo perso l'entrata ben due volte.. inserire la segnaletica sarebbe una gentilezza, soprattutto per chi non guida abitualmente a destra / la nostra stanza era piccola e al piano terra, bagno minuscolo, ok per una notte sola, non oltre.

Zowel foto's als reviews kunnen behoorlijk misleidend zijn! Wij verwachtten in een landelijk viersterren hotel aan te komen, maar het was een soort B&B aan een drukke doorgangsweg. Zeker geen 4 maar maximaal 3 sterren waard. De ontvangst was lauw. We hadden een standaardkamer geboekt en kwamen terecht in een armzalig, donker kamertje waar je je gat niet kon keren. Het bed was smalletjes. De badkamer was klein en de douche levertje een slap straaltje water af. Van kamer veranderen was niet mogelijk. Een zeer teleurstellende ervaring.

Sunbank House was an amazing experience and the owner was very friendly and helpful! We’ll definitely book it again the next time we’re visiting Perth. Wonderful gardens to see and great location for hikes. Close to the centre of Perth. A lovely bar in the Sunbank House, where we enjoyed good whisky’s!
Friendly welcome on arrival. The room was immaculate and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. There was lots of hot water and a good powerful shower in a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was exceptionally good, fresh quality produce.

Nothing. The only thing to be honest about is that it’s an old building so some of the finishing isn’t perfect but everything was comfortable and clean and would definitely stay again
Good location. Warm welcome from friendly staff. Very clean throughout with lovely decor and furnishings. Bathroom was newly decorated and was exceptionally clean. Good breakfast served by attentive and friendly staff. Communal areas were very comfortable with a lovely feel.
Reception entrance and area didn't give the best impression and looked a bit 'tired' but once passed this, all other areas were very well presented. Our room was very clean and comfortable with everything needed for 1 night but it was very small and if we had been staying longer it wouldn't have been big enough. Shower was very under powered.
High price for 1 night.
The hotel is located close to the centre of Perth, a shortish walk down the road after crossing over South Bridge. We walked there after arriving by train with small suitcases, and received a warm welcome. Our room was ensuite with a large, comfortable double bed, good blackout curtains, a comfy chair, with tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The kettle and mugs were found in a bottom drawer. An excellent, silent blade fan was discovered in the wardrobe.
Breakfast choices are made the evening before, with a chosen specified time. Breakfast was taken in a comfortable dining room at a table specified for the room.
We would happily return next time we visit Perth.
A minor point: I would have liked the choice of mushrooms in the non veggie options
