Gute Lage, stilvoller Altbau, technischer Nachholbedarf
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Ausstattung hochwertig (wenn auch mit Gebrauchsspuren), die Möglichkeit zur Kaffee-(Nespresso) und Teezubereitung auf dem Zimmer sowie ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer ist sehr angenehm. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist baustellenbedingt gesperrt, dadurch kein Verkehrslärm. Von der Baustelle gingen keine Beeinträchtigungen aus. Die zentrale Lage in Köln ist ein echtes Plus. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Das Bad war im Verhältnis zum Zimmer sehr klein. Die Kartenzahlung an der Rezeption hat nicht geklappt, was offensichtlich am Hotel lag, da 4 verschiedene Karten probiert wurden. Angeblich gibt es ein Problem mit verschiedenen Sparkassen (!?). Auch der WLAN-Zugang hat nicht funktioniert (wurde aber erst nach der Rezeptionszeit festgestellt (22 Uhr) ) und konnte daher nicht reklamiert werden. Heizungssteuerung im Zimmer hat nicht reagiert. Also technisch gibt es Nachholbedarf.
Die Zu- und Abfahrt des nahe gelegenen Parkhauses sollte man sich unbedingt vorher erklären lassen.
