Pros:

Disappointing bedroom
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful
Nice selection of fruit at breakfast and eggs cooked to order

Cons:

The room was very tired. Only one bedside lamp ....although a second one brought swiftly on request . Broken lampshade on original lamp replaced when asked. Hairdryer cut out after 10 seconds with long delay before restarting and only then on a low setting....again replaced without question!! But it all added to the generally tired feeling of the room. Not a single hanging hook in the bathroom so nowhere to hang a dressing gown or towel The bath tiles were soft but on the small side.
The bed was comfortable.
A wardrobe without any doors so functional but everything on display.... reminiscent of a much cheaper chain of motels!
No gardens to walk through (only the golf course but as we were not golfers we didn't use)

Pros:

all very good
the current roadworks outside the Hotel are a bit irritating as my onward travel had to include a detour and delay due to busy traffic ..obviously not something the hotel can do anything about

Good value, staff very help full and friendly, meals of good quality

Evening meal and breakfast both good and good value

Cons:

There was a wedding reception on the night I stayed, so a little noisy when in My room, however this didn't go on much after 10.30 so not a real problem
