Great location and very comfortable.
Pros:

The location is ideal and the sea views from our room were fabulous.
Staff at reception were great; friendly and welcoming and very efficient.
We were upgraded to a larger room which was lovely.
Our room was very warm, despite all the radiators being turned off. We asked if it might be possible to open the windows a little and, when we returned from a day out, both windows were opened slightly (but still secure) which made a huge difference.
The bar was stylish and comfortable. We were visiting family so didn't eat in the hotel this time, but I'm sure we'll be back.

Underwhelming
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Room was tiny. Booked a standard room but this was more like a cupboard. No view , looked onto a fire escape. We were in room 123.

Average
Pros:

I was staying at the hotel as working in the area.Due to early start times I did not have breakfast, the room was small and to get to get to it was like a rabbit warren . view from room was terrible onto a side street.

Cons:

quite a bit as in pricing, being able to swop breakfast towards evening meal as I was off before breakfast began.

Not as good as it used to be.
Pros:

The location is fantastic and views are stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Since our last stay 2 years ago, the hotel seems to have lost some of its charm. The usual appeals (daily housekeeping and some amenities) weren’t available and the breakfast was not as good as it used to be. For a first stay I’m sure it’s pleasant, however the overall stay wasn’t as good as it used to be.
