My stay at the **Recital Hotel** in Istanbul's Old City was absolutely wonderful, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel's location is perfect—within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, and many other historic attractions. It made exploring this beautiful city incredibly convenient.

What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality from the staff. A special thanks  to **Fatma** and **Meryem** at the reception, who were always welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their warm smiles, helpful recommendations, and willingness to assist with any request made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another visitor.

I would also like to recognize **Bilal** and **Tolga** from the restaurant. Their friendly service, attentiveness, and positive attitude made every breakfast a pleasure. They were always courteous, ensuring guests were well looked after and creating a welcoming atmosphere to start each day.

The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and peaceful, with excellent facilities and a delicious breakfast. Every member of the team contributed to making my stay memorable, and their genuine hospitality reflects the very best of Turkish culture.

I highly recommend the Recital Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. If you're looking for an excellent location, comfortable accommodation, and exceptional service from people who truly care about their guests, this is the place to stay. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Istanbul.

This really is a very nice, small, boutique hotel, right in the middle of the tourist area of Sultanahmet.
On arrival you can expect a warm welcome from the very pleasant staff.
The room was a decent size with a good ensuite bathroom.
Plenty of choice at breakfast with a little bit of variation every day.
While on the listing it shows a bar and there are bottles of shelves I don't think it actually opens fof alcohol any more.
The rooftop terrace is a nice place to take a drink and a sandwich or other snacks to enjoy the sunset over the city.
If you want to be close to the main attractions in the tourist side of Istanbul then I would definitely recommend the Recital Hotel.

A localização do hotel é espetacular, dá para fazer tudo a pé, bairro seguro para andar a qualquer hora.

Everything, great location, hotel lovely and quiet. Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much.

Absolutely GREAT location! Very basic room with hot water kettle, fridge and coffee and tea. Breakfast was very nice, and included fruits, cereal, sweets, hot eggs and salads. Front desk staff was nice. Very touristy area, about 5-8 minutes walk to Blue Mosque.

ロケーションが最高！トラムの駅が近く、また主要な観光地にも徒歩で行ける！
ホテルの女性スタッフも、朝、参加するツアーガイドが時間を過ぎても現れなかった時にツアー会社にコンタクトを取ってくれようとするなど親身に対応してくれた！
朝食でヨーグルトが欲しいと言うと直ぐに出してくれた！
夜もスタッフが常駐しているので、朝早い出発にも対応してくれる。

Perfect

Die Lage des Hotels ist sensationell. Die Straßenbahnlinie T1 ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und mit dieser Linie gelangt man zu sehr vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten (sofern sie nicht sowieso fußläufig erreichbar sind) oder Fährverbindungen. Das Hotel selbst ist sauber und ansprechend. In manchen Bereichen etwas veraltet, was aber nicht stört und zum Charme des Hauses beiträgt. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich, sehr höflich und hilfsbereit in allen Belangen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig, etwas mehr Abwechslung wäre jedoch wünschenswert. In der Nähe befinden sich einige Restaurants und auch ein Supermarkt, was ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt ist. Außerdem ist die Dachterrasse sehr schön und angenehm um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen.

Location is close to everything, cafe, restaurant and walking distance to Grand Bazaar

A second stay here in just four months. The first for the trip to Fenerbahce, and the second for the Europa League final. It was great to meet Unal again and have a chat with him. He gave us some good advice about which tram to take to Taksim and he was also right about how we’d win the final easily! I’ve attached a photo that we talked about from the previous trip with the giant Turkish flag. I hope one day we’ll return!
