Fantastic hosts and staff. Beyond beautiful surroundings

The location on the lake is extremely beautiful. All the cabins are private, secluded, and have a nice view. The staff were professional and pleasant, and the host was especially helpful with recommendations for what to do during my visit (everything was closing early for the season due to the coronavirus crisis). Meals in the restaurant were well prepared and presented.

Cabañas cómodas, limpias, bonitas . Todo simpático y acogedor. Gente muy amable y preocupada de sus pasajeros.

It’s essentially having a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Stunning view. It was peaceful and so easy to relax. I recommend driving/getting there before it gets dark because the road is so curvy and hilly. Breakfast was delicious – cooked to order eggs, homemade yogurt, fruits, and breads. The owners were so gracious and kind. I would definitely return!

If you’re arriving late in evening, remember to call ahead.

O lodge está localizado a poucos quilômetros da Carretera Austral, em frente ao Lago General Carrera. Ele tem cabanas extremamente confortáveis com amplas janelas na sala e no quarto, todas com vista para o lago e para a montanhas, das quais se destaca o Cerro Castillo. As cabanas possuem lareira e frigobar, além de um belo deck. A poucos metros você está em uma praia do lago. O lodge conta com café da manhã incluído e serviço opcional de restaurante. Os jantares são fantásticos com entrada, prato principal e deliciosas sobremesas. Tudo é muito saboroso e com alto nível de apresentação. A localização do lodge permite facilmente acessar por carro as principais atrações da região como: Capela e Catedral de Mármore, glaciar Exploradores, Rio Baker, Parque Patagonia, Chile Chico, Reserva Lago Jeinimeni. Mas o melhor de tudo são as pessoas do local. O atendimento é familiar, realizado pelos donos. Todos são muito amáveis e atenciosos, Stefan, sua filha Laura e sua esposa Carolina, além da prestativa equipe do lodge. Eles vão sempre bater um papo contando detalhes dos lugares, histórias interessantes, irão te ajudar com reservas de passeios, dicas e recomendações, inclusive vão ajudar a você identificar eventuais animais que encontrou nas trilhas que fez. Se planeja conhecer as belezas da região, andar pela Carretera Austral, a melhor opção é ficar no Mirador de Guadal. Um lugar mágico que vai tornar sua viagem mais impressionante, humana, divertida e encantadora.

Host makes you feel at home, so helpful with information on the local area and places to visit. The cabins are clean and cosy. The view was amazing from the cabin and perfect to wake up to. The overall feel of the place of tranquil me peaceful. Dinners, BBQs and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. Overall the places was beautiful to stay and we wish we had longer.

Beautiful and comfortable cabins, very charming, very good bathroom/shower. Amazing view from the lake & mountains. Very fine cuisine. Wonderful hosts! Carolina, Stephan, Andrea and Derrick were very attentive of our needs and interests all the time! We would have liked to stay longer...great place to relax and enjoy the quietness and beauty.
Hope to come back , just to relax!

場所柄のせいか料金は高いだけで食事、部屋共不満足。
ロケーションも周りは何も無し、山の中で過ごしたい
人なら良いが観光には不向き。

今回は観光地の近くのホテルが取れなかったのでやむを得ず
泊まった次第でした。

The cabins are very nice and cozy with a beautiful view on the lake and mountains and direct access to private beach. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The El Mirador is certainly worth a detour. Great restaurant and Pisco Sour! Unfortunately, the kitchens in the cabins are not fully equipped.
