Pros:

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! It was fantastic—everything was super clean, and the staff at the reception were incredibly friendly. One of the best things was that we could always enjoy hot drinks in the kitchen area, available all the time. There were also cakes and waffles always ready, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!

Ordentliches Mittelklasse Hotel, dass mir aber beim Preis deutlich zu hoch liegt (Norwegen ist teuer
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Gleich in der Innenstadt, verschiedene Bushaltestellen in der Nähe (die zum Flughafen gleich gegenüber des Eingangs). Empfang freundlich. Gute Auskunft zu Busverbindungen. Da wir vor Eröffnung des Frühstückraumes schon los mussten, bekamen wir auf Nachfrage ein Frühstückspaket. Das allerdings hatte dann noch Raum für Entwicklung. Ich hatte ein Schinken-Käse Toast und 2 halbe Eier, einen Apfel und 1 Orangensaft, das 2. Paket enthielt Apfelsaft, 1 Apfel und ein Schinken-Käse Toast. Mag zufällig passiert sein, wirkte dann aber doch etwas komisch gespart. Das Zimmer wäre als Einzelzimmer sehr in Ordnung. Es hatte aber 2 Betten, über Eck gestellt, beide allenfalls 80 cm breit. Das ist nicht einfach für normalgewichtige Personen und sicher nix für etwas kräftigere Personen. Beim Umdrehen habe ich mir dann auch prompt den Ellenbogen an der Wand angeschlagen und das stört dann schon, wenn man nachts davon aufwacht. Frühstück sollte man eher früher einplanen, der Nachschub stockte gelegentlich und so sehr großzügig war es nicht bestückt. Per se war aber alles da was man so braucht. Toast, Butter, eine Marmelade, Nutella, Müsli, Obst, O-Saft, Wasser Kaffee, Milch usw. dauerte halt unter Umständen etwas, bis wieder aufgefüllt wurde (wir haben aber auch nicht nach irgendetwas aktiv gefragt) Dafür gab es am Nachmittag ein Waffeleisen mit Teig, daneben Käse und Marmelade und Kuchen sowie Kekse, das fanden wir sehr kundenfreundlich. Da unser Zimmer im 5. Stock war, hatten wir etwas Aussicht, da das Gebäude gegenüber nach oben schmaler wurde. Preis ist naürlich mit 300 Euro Pro Nacht und Zimmer viel zu hoch für das was man als ordentliches Mittelklassehotel bekommt, aber mag einfach daran liegen, dass Norwegen grundsätzlich extrem teuer ist.

La ubicación muy buena. El desayuno aceptable y bastante completo. Personal muy amable y cordial.

Cons:

Cama doble unida, sin frigobar, sin caja de seguridad, sin mesas de luz, había solo una y amurada a la pared lejos de la cama. El placard es incómodo su acceso, tiene una especie de puerta de madera fija y hay que tantear para tomar la ropa porque no se ve. cables en el piso, lavatorio roto el sistema de desagote, el jabón pierde y ensucia la mesada, habitación minúscula que no tenes lugar para poner las maletas. Dice 4 estrellas pero deja que desear. No hacen el servicio de la habitación. Jamás en los 4 días que estuvimos. Tampoco sacan la basura. No volvería.

Great location. Wide option of breakfast items. Generous in offering many options.
Pros:

There was a wide selection of breakfast items. Deli meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs and breads. Hot options were great - chipolata sausages, crispy bacon, baked beans, meatballs. Also cold items like cereal and fruits. They do packed breakfast for those who have to fly off early.

Location is great. Walking distance to the rest of town, next door to the Troll Museum, close to bus terminals and Tourist Information shop.

They have a courtesy phone so you can call a taxi to the hotel.

Cons:

Breakfast only starts at 7am. It would be better to start at 6am as some of us need to get on a flight or go out for a tour.

La propreté des chambres n'était pas au rendez-vous.
Il restait par exemple une bouteille d'eau des anciens résidants et de nombreuses boules de poussières.

Le petit-déjeuner est très limité.
Le 1er jour, j'ai demandé à rechercher le panier de pancake a 9h32. Cela a ete refusé par le "refill" se fait jusqu'à 9h30.
Les 2 jours suivants, malgré que je sois présent avant 9h30, il n'a pas ete possible de recharger le petit déjeuner (saumon, pancake, viennoiseries). Il m'a ete répondu qu'il restait du pain

Pros:

The location was excellent and convenient. The staff was very friendly especially Klaudia the receptionist. She was extremely helpful when I had difficulty with the door. She also helped me arrange for a taxi and made me feel welcomed when I needed to wait after I checked out for my taxi to take me to my ship.
The afternoon waffle with jam and brown cheese was a nice surprise and very delicious.

Pros:

The location was great!!the bus from the airport just stopped in front of the hotel, all the tour buses were just a few minutes away. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

Conveniently located if you are on a budget and don't mind a cold room

Location was very good. Room was large in size.

Cons:

Room was very cold, we are septuagenarians and requested either to increase the heat in the room or have a space heater. Neither could be provided. Breakfast was adequate, but on one day it had mostly been cleaned out by earlier diners.

Great accommodation in the center of Tromsø
Pros:

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Enter Amalie in November '25. The standout feature is definitely the location—it’s centrally situated, and almost all major tour departures are within a 5-minute walk (less than 500m), which was a lifesaver in the Arctic cold! The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also loved the daily breakfast spread; it’s hearty. They also offer hot coffee and DIY waffles which are available for all guests in the evenin,g free of cost! If you’re coming to Tromsø for the tours, this is the perfect base.

Cons:

The rooms are a bit crampy given the costs are not very cheap. But considering the cost of other hotels, this is a good bargain
