An adequate stay but nothing that’ll “wow” you.
Pros:

Pretty convenient location with good room views if you choose the right rooms. Our room was spacious enough and comfortable and we enjoyed our time spent in the room generally speaking.

Cons:

Very limited gym equipment. Fitness centre was quite the letdown and for some reason they turned on the heater. I get that it’s winter but you don’t want the gym to feel like a sauna.

Conversely, the swimming pool is not heated, which would have been a nice touch if you were coming in from the cold. Furthermore, the swimming pool itself is in poor condition with many tiles at the bottom of the pool having peeled off leading to possible injuries via cuts on the sharp tile edges.

Lounge options are pretty limited for Asia when it comes to food options, but I guess it’ll suffice for most. Sadly, the lounge itself is situated on the side of the hotel that doesn’t have the great views of the iconic Shanghai skyscrapers.

The breakfast buffet on the ground floor was generally fine but there could be more variety on the hot Chinese dishes.

Love this hotel and will probably stay here again next time
Pros:

The panoramic view spreading from the room to the bathroom was really cool. Loved how big the bathrooms were. Area is perfect too.

Cons:

The room was a bit cold even though we had AC on 24 degrees pretty much the whole time.
