Room was very small and it does not look clean.bed was not comfortable.

Great place to stay

The staff were quick to respond whenever I needed anything. The various pieces of furniture and "period pieces" in the lobby made it very interesting. I was disappointed to find out they no longer had a restaurant and suggest they take that info down on their website. One of the places I was interested in seeing was the 1881 area and it was so close. Also lots of stores, banks and restaurants in the area.

We enjoyed our stay

My husband and I have come here for a few years. Comfortable and fun to come to. Staff is amazing. We have never had issues with parking. Room is older but clean, not judge but just the right size.

Great little place in the middle of Chilliwack , don’t expect 5 star accommodation but it was perfect for me

Basic facility nothing fancy. Old mattresses could use new ones. Otherwise a very plain Jane experience.

Granted the hotel is old, it smells musty old, the room was the size of my bedroom. No phone, more like a boarding room than a hotel room! Very clean though, double bed, not queen as advertised. Ridiculous price!! Would not recommend it, staff did not know where the hospital was(which was the reason for the stay) it was 2 blocks away!! Window did not open and no air conditioning, thankfully there was a small fan!

If you can overlook the smell of an old house than this could be a good over-niter. I was traveling through and needed a place to crash for the night.

For: Cheaper by a 1/3 of the nearest consideration. Super friendly and helpful front desk. If driving an EV, level 2 charger in the parking lot, BCHydro level 3 is a block away, Flo level 3 is 2 blocks away.

No decision: Basic very small, but clean room with private bathroom and shower, TV & wi-fi. Close to some nice restaurants and Save-On-Foods.

Against: The strong old house smell. All rooms are at least 1 set of stairs up to the next floor - no elevator. I was advised to not leave anything in the car, so I ended up carrying everything up and down.

Bottom line: Would I stay there again for a night? Yes.

Comfy, sizeable rooms. Rooms modern, clean and well maintained. Shopping and dining options walkable within a couple of blocks. Car parking seemed safe and close to rooms.

My only suggestion would be to have kleenex in the rooms.

Hotel is in a great location - right in downtown Chiliwack and a block away from District 1881. Loved the older hotel which was clean and quiet.

Note that staff aren't at the front desk...they do have a number you can call. Check in time starts at 3:30. And there is no elevator.

Was very disappointed because the room i booked on this website said tjere was a big soaker tub.

Beautiful and clean

Hotel was much cooler than I thought given the price point. Old Victorian vibes, maybe haunted, beautiful wood flooring and antique pieces. Great restaurants nearby. Will stay again.

It was great!

Definitely had an aging character. Very western feeling. The furnishinga, the creeky floors, etc. I liked it. Definitely in a convenient location....everything is walking distance. No AC, just a fan, so be wary in the summer if you like cold. Otherwise a nice stay. Also, every door is cipher lock controlled...no keys or card.
I'd stay again for sure when in chillawack.
