Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful, really enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. There is also a hotel cat!

Excellent
Pros:

Lovely room with balcony over river. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Bikes locked in garage. Manager opened garage at 6.30 so we could leave early. Wonderful stay. Amazing staff.

séjour mémorable : mériterait un retour
Pros:

Il y a un décalage entre les conditions de l'hôtel qui sont bonnes , mais pas exceptionnelles et la qualité de la restauration qui est au top. Petit bémol sur ce sujet. Client de passage qui n'avait pas programmé un repas gastro, l'attente pour le service du repas était très importante. Néanmoins cela n'a pas gâché la soirée , au vu de la grande qualité du "plat dessert" proposé.

Pros:

La position pres de la riviere est parfait. Notre chambre, le petit suite, etait confortable. Cette année il y avait des deux seiges confortables - c'etait beaucoup mieux que l'année derniere.

Le resto etait tres bien. La repas de Noel etait parfait et le chef a gené les allergies de mon mari tres bien.

Cons:

C'est dommage qu'il n'y aucun chaffage dans les toilettes de la chambre. Et seulement une distributeur de savon a gauche des lavabos etait un peu maladroit de utilise s'il y a deux personnes qui utilise les lavabos au meme temp.

J'ai pensé que seulement deux pods de café etait un peu avare. Aussi, quelque lait serait bon

Comme une impression d’avoir vécu Instagram vs la réalité

Nous avons été assez déçus par notre séjour. En réservant, les photos laissent penser que l’on va loger dans le bel hôtel principal au bord de la rivière. Or, une fois la réservation confirmée, nous avons découvert qu’il s’agissait en réalité d’un bâtiment annexe. Et sur place, la déception s’est confirmée : le bâtiment se trouve sur un parking, avec une “vue rivière” qui donne d’abord sur les voitures, puis au loin sur la rivière…
Heureusement, la chambre en elle-même était propre et confortable, avec une bonne literie. Mais le sentiment d’avoir été trompés par les photos reste fort. Nous ne réserverons plus, car nous espérions vraiment séjourner dans le joli bâtiment principal, et non dans ces annexes qui n’ont rien à voir avec ce que l’on nous vend sur le site.

The hotel is well situated in the centre of town and our room had a great view over the terrace and the river.
Our room was clean and the bed comfortable, but there was no facility for making coffee or tea.
The furnishings and decoration to the hotel are faded and tired – it has definitely seen better days.
The breakfast was copious with a good choice of food, both Continental and English, on the buffet sideboard.

Cons:

However, our dinner in the restaurant was a great disappointment. The staff and maître hotel were abrupt - almost rude. We both chose from the two-course menu (48 euros) – the plat principal, which had a very pretentious description, was nothing more than a miniscule portion of slow cooked pork, mainly inedible lard, served on a thin bed of boiled cabbage leaves and a sprinkle of gravy. The second course was a cheese platter consisting of six, postage stamp size, slithers of cheese. We both left the table thinking - where shall we now go to eat?
