I had a wonderful stay at Horizon doha! The location was perfect near to Souq and also corniche .The staff were very friendly and helpful.Especially thanks to Manal from the front desk.She was welcoming and accommodating right from the start of I checked in.The room was pretty cool. I ordered foods from IRD also. That was quick and the food was delicious. Only one thing is u can hear the music from the club from upstairs. Other things are fantastic .

1. Extremely loud noise from nightclubs inside the hotel and directly above the rooms, making it impossible to rest.
2. Elevators constantly overcrowded with non-residents attending parties, causing delays and a lack of security.
3. Food remains and scattered dishes left in the hallways, creating unhygienic conditions.
4. Dirty, stained carpets in the rooms, along with a very noisy air-conditioning system.
5. At reception, there is an open nightclub entrance which all guests must pass to reach the elevators. This is highly inappropriate for a family or tourist hotel.
6. Hotel staff were unfriendly and unhelpful at all times.
7. The in-room safe was not functioning and could not be used.

I kindly ask you to investigate these violations, reconsider the hotel’s rating, and take the necessary measures to protect consumers and visitors from misleading practices.

Since we were doing a late check-in, even though we had already booked our room for the day before our arrival, the rooms were still not ready when we got to the hotel. The hallways smelled of damp and mildew, and the air conditioners in the rooms were extremely noisy and clearly not maintained. I’m not sure if I should even mention this, but the noise from the nightclubs in the hotel could be heard all the way into the rooms! Honestly, this place felt less like a hotel and more like a spot for one-night stands. Absolutely do not go!

Well first off the staff was amazing, Bahar was an amazing guy and so were the other guys at the front desk, they gave us a free room upgrade, however the room was not the cleanest and the ac was not working, keep in mind it is already super hot in doha at this time in august, so that was really inconvenient, also our key card to our room stopped working 3 times so that really sucked, if it wasn’t for the friendly staff i think i would rate this place a 1/5, if you are a hotel in a nice city then i think AC should be the number one priority even if it breaks down.

Within checking in, one hour and I had to get moved 3 rooms; not to mention they assigned me to a room that someone else was already staying in. Just don’t waste your time.

10 out of 10 the staff was really nice very corporative specially receptionist Huzaifa is really nice guy the room is neat and clean highly recommended to visit this hotel once in a life there is many clubs you guys no need go out from here it’s really worth it

Our brief stay at Horizon Manor Hotel was deeply disappointing and far below even modest expectations. This establishment is absolutely not suitable for families or anyone seeking a clean, comfortable, or professional environment. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel with amenities like an airport shuttle, the reality was quite the opposite.

The property resembles a run-down, smoky motel with a nightclub operating on the lower levels, creating constant foot traffic and extremely thick smoke that permeated every hallway, and even the rooms. We requested upper-floor accommodations to avoid the smoke, but the ventilation system was so compromised that the rooms reeked of it regardless. This was especially unacceptable for our young family during a layover in Doha.

Check-in was a chaotic 40-minute ordeal, handled by two overwhelmed staff members juggling phone calls from guests requesting basic items like soap and tea. The reception area lacked professionalism and efficiency.
The condition of the rooms was equally alarming. All four beds in our two rooms had visibly stained bed runners, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. There was no airport shuttle as promised at the time of booking, and the hotel's star rating is grossly misleading.

We had pre-paid for a non refundable rate, otherwise, we would have left. The only reason we stayed was because we needed a place to rest for a few hours between flights. However, even that minimal expectation was unmet due to the uncomfortable and smoky conditions.

This hotel does a disservice to the hospitality standards of Doha. I've previously stayed in 3-star hotels in the city that were far superior. I would not recommend Horizon Manor Hotel to anyone.

Folks at reception were very helpful carrying bags for me.

Positives:
Location (near to Souq Waqef).
Sea view.

Areas of Improvement:
Crowdedness of bar visitors who badly acting due to over drinking.
Dangerous entrance (risky for traffic accidents).
Location (difficult to get there).
Difficult to find car parkings.
Semi-disabled partially working elevators which is mainly assigned to bar visitors snd prostitutes who acting badly NOT for hotel guests.
Long time check-in and check-out process.
Poorly communicating non-professional reception, concierge, security staff.
Broken semi-closed suite doors (RISK FOR THIFT) since it was broken by Thieves.
Overused non-clean carpets and beds.
Non-comfortable beds and pillows.
Heavy noisy smoking transmitted in all rooms, corridors and areas (THERE ARE NOT NON-SMOKING ROOMS).
Noisy transmuting sound from nearby apartment, corridors, and bars.
The telephone is NOT working (poor communication).
Very Expensive.
Restaurant is closed at morning and only opened for nightclubs activities.
There is NOT breakfast in the restaurant as described at check-in.
A lot of bar visitors roaming around the rooms without security.

Çok titiz bir insan değilimdir ama çarşafın her gün değiştirildiğini biliyorum otellerde . 3 yıldızlı oteller bile her gün odayı temizliyor. 7 gün kaldık ilk gün bile temiz çarşaf yoktu üzerinde kıllar vardı. Havlular asla değiştirilmiyordu her gün havlu istemek zorunda kalıyordum rezaletti

One of your guard strangled me, choked me,and pushed me out of your premises while i was waiting for friends to come down from Maharlika bar..I am a regular guest in Maharlika Bar.Everytime me and my friends hanging out there we are paying thousands of rials and for your guard to treat me as such was very unacceptable.You have your cctv in the lobby to review if i did something wrong.I was just asking if i disresprected him for him to kick me out with force and physical out of your premises.Hope you give sanction to that very rude employee of yours.!!!!!!,

The room is big but unfortunatley the hotel is not for families or lady traveling alone. Bad room service, tried to order breakfast from my room they didnt answer, not only once but twice went to reception and asked, when the lady called them they answered. There is clubs in the hotel which is fine but the problem was you see a lot of men everywhere standing outside the hotel trying to talk with you and this is like 24/7, especially weekend felt very uncomfortable everytime i go out or go to supermarket, you take the same elevator with the people going to club or coming from club with the bad smell where as the elevator takes forever. Worst part was the night i checked out, it was full chaos in the hotel a lot of men and women standing outside and cars everywhere, got really scared where as non of the hotel stuff tried to help me get into my taxi. At the end one of the securities from the club helped me find my taxi and helped me with my bags.The hotel might be nice for men or maybe if you trying to find clubs,but not for families with kids or ladies traveling alone or finding place to relax.

Noisy

I would definitely book again here. It’s a really amazing hotel with great view. Great staff great spa but they didn’t mention me. The pool and hot tub was closed from maintenance overall it’s definitely 4/5. be careful at the lobby hookah lounge i ordered 1 lemonade, and one hookah which cost around 50 riyal after i swiped my card and left the indian guy that works there charged me 80 riyal, i didn’t realize he did that until I left, i recommend to smoke hookah at the shop right across the street next time. thank you staff for having me.

The Swimming Pool area hasn’t been cleaned for weeks tools and bits of metal structure lying around all over the place poolunusable . Constant base all night from the nightclubs.

It's my first time staying in this hotel after my offshore work.
My company put me in this hotel to test before returning to my home country.

I arrived at the weekend at midnight and realized that there are few pubs and night clubs in the building as it was very crowded with people coming in and out of the building.
Many security guys stand and guard the entrance.
Including X Ray scan for all of our luggage.

I stayed in a spacious room, a twin bed room with a direct view to the iconic Doha Museum. It was impressive to see this view at night.
The room was equipped with toiletries, TV, sofa but the floor carpet in my room was not really clean as it might be used by a short timer after the club.
However, I had a good sleep before leaving.

Thank you to the FnB staff who remind me with a call about my breakfast and lunch time.
The food menu is quite various but limited but it is still good to enjoy.
I went to see the swimming pool and gym at the roof top area.

The front desk was helpful and did the job very quickly.
This hotel is good for business travellers or for transit purposes.
