Ok for 1 or 2 night stay.
Pros:

Location and staff very good

Cons:

Bar only open Friday and Saturday, can get a drink at reception though. Room size very compact even with only two of us in there. Also there's a rule you can't take alcohol into the room from outside, 200 quid fine if you do!

Pleasant, spacious, no frills and functional accommodation. Perfectly happy.
Pros:

Room was spacious, beds and linen comfortable. Well located for Northumbria University and Central Newcastle. Staff were friendly. Bar downstairs was handy. Security was good. Very good value. Breakfast was pretty good too!

Cons:

Only minor comments. For the money it was very good value. Bathroom was cramped but functional. Some noise from the bar and the corridors. It does what it says on the tin. No parking. The AI agent that communicated with me on WhatsApp was bad and misleading - gave me incorrect info such as that I couldn't book breakfast! You HAVE to have ID to check in - I noticed in an email but it was not very clear and I could easily have missed it. I gather people have actually been turned away.

Pros:

Great value for money and the breakfast pack was a nice touch.

Handy for football, close to the stadium, car parks etc.

Cons:

We were unable to close the windows, but it was quiet outside and mild so didn't affect us.
