Pros:

The breakfast was excellent and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpfull.

Cons:

I booked a room for my sons and they were told the room was ready and then charged for early check in.

Disappointed at been penalised for booking through booking.com
Pros:

This hotel is very central, and close to where I was working that suited. The gardens were lovely. Two staff member - Tara, Marta and Victor were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

I had asked on booking, again when rung to confirm my reservation, and on check in about a quiet room. I was assured that would be no problem.
My room was next to a squeaky door at the lift. There was a lot of footfall and door squeaking. I managed to get to sleep but several times was woken. I e-mail at that stage through the message centre. Tara very kindly rang me- and said she could talk to her manager and see IF I could be moved. At that stage I did not want to pack up. I think I might have been unhappy but not cross- except when I mentioned it at checkout again- you know - maybe oil the door / if someone wants a quiet room put them further down the corridor- but the receptionist basically said he could not help as I had booked through booking.com. I was appalled. I’m not sure he even apologised. I will be writing to the hotel. Why should I be treated less well?

bar staff were very slow. wasn’t busy and lot of staff and yet took ages to get a drink
