Reliable comfortable and cosy hotel elevated by its swimming pool
Pros:

I loved the pool and the vigour of the jacuzzi! Very friendly and pleasant staff, comfortable bedroom (with loud birdsong audible from the garden!), very good breakfast with sweet AND savoury cooked options, and that jugs were provided for readily refillable water at handy water stations

Cons:

On arrival I was asked re payment even though I had already paid (thought awareness could be better about payment status), and on second morning, was disappointed that jacuzzi was out of order

1 night on our way to where we were going to.
Pros:

Quick check-in.
Great having water on tap.

Cons:

There was work going on and a lot of noise in reception and lots of noise from 7.30am, not good, when trying to get a bit of sleep.

A really refreshing improvement in a great hotel
Pros:

We stayed here about 2 or 3 years ago and at that time the prices were cheaper but we had a few nights where the noise from other rooms was bleeding through and we could hear everything from next rooms.

However after a huge investment in the hotel, it has blossomed. The Rooms are very fancy and very comfy. The leisure centre is after getting some love too and we used it for the first time on this trip because it was so inviting. The food here was always excellent and so were the staff and that is unchanged.

We left today and said "We will be back" ... I might also use it as a work stop every time i am travelling through Birr

Cons:

We asked for a quiet room but the are building works viewable from our room, so at about 7:30 / 8am we had bulldozers beeping non stop. Not a biggie, next time we will just ask for a garden view room which i think would be on the other aspect of the hotel and that will solve it .... I say next time because we WILL be back !

Très bon séjour dans cet endroit, très bel hôtel, très propre

Le cadre, la chambre, le confort, le petit déjeuner

Cons:

J’ai juste trouvé que l’eau de la piscine était légèrement trouble, mais sinon la piscine est cool

Pros:

Room was big and clean.
Bed was comfortable.
Restaurant food was nice.

Cons:

Leisure facilities were run down.
Lifts are in need of an upgrade.
Both persons staying in the hotel did not sleep well with the noise throughout the night.
Staff were very friendly but service was very slow at times.
Cost of stay was not value for money unfortunately.
