Staff make you feel welcome. The blonde sisters on reception are the first contact and cannot do enough for you.
Excellent place
Lovely compact room, original style and clean. Comfy mattress. Complimentary water in the room was appreciated. Great to have the excellent restaurant downstairs and the bar area was super cosy. Special call out to Bruno in the restaurant who really looked after us well. All the staff were welcoming and cheerful. Excellent choice for breakfast.
Had to request a kettle as it was missing. We had room 10 which looks out onto a flat roof with the industrial venting from the kitchens - It was similar to the noise of an airplane. However, it was quieter overnight, so didn't disturb our sleep. There is a warning about noise on this room's details, but we'd assumed that referred to bar or restaurant noise. If you're sensitive to mechanical noises pick a different room!
