Quirky decor - lots of interesting decorations in the main bar and restaurant areas and also in the bedrooms.
Great shower room - spotlessly clean.
Warm and cosy bedroom with comfy bed. Sufficient hanging space and good guest facilities in the room - iron, ironing board, kettle with coffee, tea and premium biscuits, bathrobes and nice quality toiletries.
Plenty of free carparking.

Room price felt very 'top end'
Lock on the door jammed and we had to call reception to open the door from the outside so that we could get out. Fortunately, only a momentary delay to our breakfast and Reception confirmed that it would be referred to the maintenance team before the room was next used.

i have stayed on a few occasions and always enjoyed the atmosphere and surroundings.
The heating was overpowering in the bar, also in our room but did not realise we could turn it down with thermostat🙃.

In our room TV kept cutting off when watching it and the tap on the bath was a little rough with hubby being blind in one eye didn't see it and cut his knee we also noticed staying in the bus was slightly damp and wet on the left hand side of the floor near the bed but with it being for valentine's Day made the most of it x

It was a really charming place, quite a larger site than expected and easy to get to. The food was fantastic although the portions were huge! The staff were the stand out though, everyone we dealt with was so helpful and friendly. The room was lovely, lots of nice touches and very clean.
There were literally only two things. The bed was quite hard so I didn’t sleep well. And we could hear absolutely everything going on in the room next door, they were watching tv until 4am and where very loud when talking in the morning, very thin walls so I’m not sure I would choose to stay here again sadly
