Goede ligging, rustig maar toch centraal . Super aardige mensen, vond het wel wat aan de prijs voor een toch vrij kleine kamer

Cons:

Was wat gehorig zo naast de lift. De parkeergarage in de buurt peperduur, 90 euro voor 3 nachten

Das 3A Zimmer ist eines der kleineren, engeren..bisserl zu klein vielleicht...und dunkleren Zimmer. Ich kenn auch andere dort, die top sind.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet street. Room was very spacious, very clean. The radiators did not work but the AC was enough to warm the room (although it was around 12 degrees, which was OK. I do not know how it would work in colder conditions). Elevator available and large. Location is good and safe but also at an acceptable walking distance to the old town (around 20 minutes). Also tram stations were nearby. It was very kind of them provide us with complimentary chocolates and pencils for the kid.

Cons:

It was OK but the extra bed (A foldout sofa) was large but hard to sleep on. It is acceptable for 2 nights but would be uncomfy for longer periods.

A Small misleading / vague information on booking.com about the extra bed for the kid. It read "20 euros per stay" which I assumed was the duration of the stay. However, it turned out they meant for each night (which i would imagine would be better worded as"20 euros per night", as in other hotels) They were willing to discuss it but I was in a hurry to catch the plane.

The price was a bit steep because it was a weekend and christmas market craze was on. But it is true for all hotels in Cologne around that period, and Maison was still relatively less expensive.
