Great location for skiing (ski in/ski out). Hotel a little dated. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Hotel room has nice unblocked mountain views. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

O hotel é bom, mas fica em uma região em que vc não tem acesso de carro e mesmo subindo de trem ainda tem uma razoável caminha, toda de subida até o hotel

They put us in a stinky, moldy room and told us twice during check-in that we could get another room for 20 CHF more. We did not. This room was very bad.

Didnt Have the opportunity to check in and Even though i emailed same night To get refund of the booking i didnt get Any anwser. This Hotel is not possible to go to by car, i think this should be stated Very clearly for everone that want to book something on short notice!

The hotel is old. And also, little bit far away from the train station. Overall we had a nice stay. Wengen is a special place.

Well, the property is very old and the owners have done some improuvements but they could do more if they wanted, simple stuff like painting the metal frames on the balcony, fix the shower support, which won't cost much and they could raise the interest for the people....but thay are just lazy.
I wish I could give more than 3.9, but I can't....maybe when they will put a TV in the room I will do that.
Per total, it is ok to spend few nights there.

Es ist wunderschön gelegen mit einer traumhaften aussicht, das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Es war richtig nostalgisch, da das Haus ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Prima locatie, vlak naast de piste ('s ochtends skien naar de lift, 's avonds terug naar het hotel). Goed ontbijtbuffet met voldoende keuze. Het hotel is stijlvol maar wel oud en een beetje gehorig. Wij hadden een vrij kleine 2persoons kamer die net ruim genoeg was door een praktischs inrichting, met balkon en uitzicht op de bergen, en met een nogal krakende vloer (niet handig als je 's nachts naar de wc moet).

Brunner was a great base for our exploration of Wengen and vicinity. Very quiet, comfortable, and satisfactory in all regards. The staff was friendly. And helpful in accommodating our special needs.

If you are looking for a fancy type hotel, hotel brunner is not the place for you. However hotel brunner certainly rates high with me. Economical and warm and friendly staff willing to help you as needed. They stayed open late for me to pick me up at train station at midnight because my earlier train had been canciled. Also breakfast was included and coffee and fea available all day. Also had use of their refrigeratir and microwave.

Difficult to realize that hotel was well of the beaten path. Wengen like zermatt is a car free town and only accessible by a 15 min train ride($30 extra for the 4 of us) us a 15 minute walk(in the rain). Plus parking at the train station it turned out to be an expensive stay. Hotel(residence? Not sure why signs say hotel but identified as a residence, perhaps it doesnt qualify anymore) room was average, floor squeaked waking family during night and as usual in Europe they have no AC or at least screens on the windows to keep out bugs. Meh.

Excellent hospitality, lovable & helping staff. Even the owner himself takes care of guests. Remarkable view of glaciers from hotel garden. Overall awesome experience!! Thanks Mr Tom Brunner!!

We spent 4 days at the hotel and we are glad we selected this hotel. Such beautiful views from the room (room 16), extremely helpful staff and decent facilities.

The place is not that far from the station, just a bit elevated but was manageable for us.

In the breakfast we have some devent options. They do have some lunch and dinner options, so check it out when you are there. We also enjoyed the lobby areas which had provisions for hot water, microwave, cuttlery and fridge.

There was a good mixture of staff from different countries. Like wise, it was also good to mingle with vacationers from other countries. Truely a great cross cultural exchange.

This is a property conveniently located between Interlaken and Jungfraujoch. The front yard is facing Jangfrau with an spectacular view all day long. The hospitality of the hotel staff is excellent, and the meal service is tasty and affordable. In the front of the hotel, there is a trail you can walk along to the other end of the town of Wengen and enjoy an amazing view of Jungfrau from different angles.

This place was amazing. Everyone who worked there was so nice and they made you feel at home. They even made us a lunch one day since we had to go on a hike before the breakfast started. Although the hotel is on the outskirts of town and requires a decent uphill walk, it’s worth it for the price and the view. The free breakfast every morning was good too. I would definitely stay again.
