Good looking hotel, not like the photos though, with poor service
Pros:

The hotel itself is okay, but far from Top 5 on Zanzibar. It's more buffet food, for mass tourisam, and not high-end service and experiance. It's all inclusive hotel, with nice photos that clickbait.

Cons:

The room service was Very slow. The cleaning crew didnt come, and when we called for them were very slow. The service is like an old hotel with underpaid employees.

Het beste hotel en team van zanzibar
Pros:

Vriendelijkheid , netheid, beleefdheid , comfort, het uitstekende eten , de monkeys ,Epson, Martha...de barman .. maar iedereen hoor 10 /10 .we deden hier al 18 goede hotels op zanzibar .maar the residence en team uitmuntend

Pros:

L’agencement et les équipements de l’hôtel, la villa très agréable et sa piscine privative vue mer la taille de la piscine est super et permet vraiment d’en profiter), le personnel de l’hôtel extrêmement accueillant et pratiquant un service impeccable.

יש מקומות יפים בעולם, ויש מקומות שפשוט לא רוצים לעזוב – וזה אחד מהם.

מהרגע שהגענו הרגשנו שאנחנו בגן עדן. הנוף עוצר נשימה, המלון מטופח ברמה גבוהה, והאווירה פשוט מושלמת. האוכל היה מצוין לאורך כל השהות – מגוון, טרי וטעים מאוד.

אבל הדבר שבאמת הפך את החופשה למיוחדת היה השירות. כל אנשי הצוות היו אדיבים, מקצועיים ותמיד עם חיוך אמיתי, וגרמו לנו להרגיש רצויים בכל רגע.

אם אתם מחפשים מקום להירגע, ליהנות מנוף מדהים, אוכל מעולה ושירות יוצא דופן – אל תחשבו פעמיים. זה ללא ספק אחד המלונות הטובים ביותר שהתארחנו בהם, ואנחנו כבר מחכים לחזור.”

Nice but not worth the money we spent
Pros:

The pool was lovely and the food was exceptional.

Cons:

The amenities were run down and didn’t work at times. We had multiple issues in our room of things not working or turning off. The first night the electricity in our room was not working, no hot water, no fan and no air con. Second night we had no WIFI, Third night we had no aircon again. Some of the door locks weren’t working. We were also charged for drinking water at dinner. This was not anything special just normal water and we were charged $5

Pros:

החדר מדהים ברמות גבוהות מצויד בהכל בבריכה גדולה והצוות ממש מקסים! גם האטרקציות במלון יחסית זולות למלונות אחרים שראיתי. יש מלא קופים במלון מסתובבים קרוב (לעיתים קרוב מידי) וגם ראינו במבי! האוכל המקומי טעים מאוד, ויש אופניים שנותנים לאורחים להשתמש בחינם גם לילדים וזה מקסים. המלון ענק ומלא בפעילויות באמת אין צורך לצאת ממנו!

האוכל המערבי לא משהו והיה ניתן לתת יותר בחירה של מנות במיוחד צמחוניות. גם בחדר אוכל בארוחת ערב לא היה ממש מבחר במיוחד לצמחונים.. בנוסף- אחרות הערב מתחילה בשעה 19:30 שזה מאוחר מאוד למשפחות עם ילדים קטנים. הציעו לנו שיכינו משהו לילדים לפני אבל זה לא עוזר כי הם נרדמים ואז גם אנחנו ההורים לא יכולים ללכת…
אפשר קצת לשפץ את הבריכה והמיטות שיזוף, וגם את האופניים שנותנים לאורחים להשתמש במיוחד של הילדים. כמו כן הקופים ממש מתקרבים לפעמים בקטע מפחיד- רוב הזמן נהנו מהם אבל בתכלס זה יכול להיות ממש מפחיד ברגעים האלו

Short & sweet!
Pros:

We absolutely loved the privacy of the villas, and having our own private pool was a wonderful bonus. With the half-board option, we really enjoyed the variety of set menus for dinner. A standout moment was the private beach dinner arranged for my birthday it was truly phenomenal, especially with the traditional dancers singing Happy Birthday, which made the experience even more special.

Cons:

The breakfast menu was quite basic and offered limited variety. We also found that it was largely the same each day, which made it feel a bit repetitive.

Our best holiday stay so far in 2026
Pros:

We stayed for 3 nights, had a great experience, the place is magical, staff are friendly and the food was amazing.

Cons:

Only downside is we had to pay for water during our dinner buffet. We feel like water should be complimentary during dinner as it is with other resorts we have been to.
