Weird Chinese hotel. No English spoken. Very dirty rundown room where most of the light switches do not work, no shower curtain in the bathroom, no bath plug, no bath mats, ugly window view. Very noisy in the mornings; cleaners screaming & shouting, loud machinery banging for over 1 hour! A truly awful hotel.
시설도 오래되었고 청소도 불결하고 와이파이도 계속 끊기고 안되고 최악이었습니다.
Staff was unable to locate our reservation. The room was visibly dirty, no wifi, large towel on the bed for a blanket, and a lock was broken on the door. Additionally, not a safe area for a lady traveling alone, which thankfully I wasn’t.
I stayed at the hotel in March 2020 when I visited the wonderful city of Phnom Penh and unfortunately I had a very disappointing stay.
The main issues were as follows:
- Rooms are absolutely filthy (please see photos that speak for themselves!)
- The hotel charge a deposit, give no receipt, and then deny upon check out that you ever paid a deposit so in effect steal from their customers.
- Daytime receptionist polite and friendly but night time receptionist is extremely, extremely, extremely rude!
- Night time receptionist plays videos so loudly on her phone that it can be heard from guest rooms.
Overall, a very disappointing stay.
Excellent. Nice place. Recommend highly. Will visit again
Hotel does not provide shuttle service from/to the airport contrary to what is stated in the info page of Hotels.com
Worst hotel I’ve been at.
I switch from Lucky Star to Lucky Star 3 is it is a new hotel and I was curious to see how I would like it it is basically the same design as Lucky Star to but the bed mattresses sheets and pillows were fantastic it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in in Asia it is a non-smoking Hotel which I appreciate it also they were only renting floors to the 7th floor but it does go to 10 I went up to 11 and got a view of the city in the Olympic Stadium that is it is not finished yet but what a wonderful View as in all Lucky Star Hotel sometimes they have wedding receptions but in my 10 years of staying there I have only quiet after 10 as I think that is the rule of the wedding receptions the staff is wonderful
Not well maintenance hotel
Très bon sejour et le personnel est très professionnel à recommander
I would not recommend this hotel especially if you are traveling alone. The atompshere was not inviting. As you enter the first sign you encounter was don’t bring weapons. The beds were hard as rocks, food interesting is what I called it. They had lots of hot water. The place did not have a clean evivironment and bars on my windows and lights going on and off a numerous number of times.
Lucky Star Hotel in Phnom Penh was fairly opened when we first checked in out. I did not approve because the "locals" checked it out for me, but since it was free I had no regrets. The biggest gripes for me staying at the Lucky Star hotel is that it is far away from the Riverside. I can not just walk like I normally do when staying at a guesthouse situated near the Riverside. Yes I save a few bucks on a bigger room staying at Lucky Star, but all I do is stay inside and sleep. The food attraction nearby are mostly for foreigners, and with the small coffee houses don't expect free wifi. The rooms were cleaned and adequate, but you knew you were amongst the "locals" and not the tourists community. I prefer to spend a little more $$ and be close to where all the tourists are at, because I like the different variety of foods.
séjour agréable dans un quartier qui célèbre en permanence des mariages
le seul problème de temps en temps la nuit nous subissons des nuisances sonores
travaux et les gens qui discutent dans la rue
quartier en permanence surveillé par des agents de sécurité
They only gave a tiny soap (didn't get replenished every day, often had to ask), the air conditioner didn't work properly, and they only provided a very thin blanket - i asked for more blankets but they said they didn't have any. Overall you get what you pay for, and the staff tried their best to be friendly and helpful given the language limitations.
Lucky Star Hotel is already part of our life and we’ve been here for almost 10yrs already and it is close to our heart. Very clean Hotel & the housekeeping staff are very friendly. They have a very good location as it is near the market, grocery store and olympic stadium where we can go for a nice running early morning. Very safe place. Congratulations to the management of this Hotel and please continue to improve more and we will always choose your hotel. Wishing you all the best and success in the future!
在往來台北和金邊之中,這飯店,我住了兩年多了。這是金邊Lucky企業,提供的便宜的旅店,給予出差人很不錯的選擇。基本盥洗用品房間都有提供。地理位置在市中心,交通方便。
Nice place to stay. Close to all tourist sites and good shopping areas.
I saw a review about dirty linens and once I think about it my towel didn't smell the greatest the floor was dirty I asked for the wifi the lady gave me 2 passwords for a wifi I didn't even know what the name was so I played the guessing game and couldn't connect I told her it wasn't working and she got upset and said the internet is down I so wanted to call her on her bluff but she got it to work the last second I go up to my room and sure enough the internet doesn't work up there I took the loss after staying there 2 days on my checkout I asked can I leave one bag because my bus irate 8pm and meeting me here she said yes I come downstairs the day of the checking out totally different story they understand English I give them that but there favorite word is NO and make sure to show them the price that's listed on the web or they try to make an extra 4$ off of you I'm not sure to pocket it or what???
Very nice and close to city mall also you can go around to see big stadium many people excercise there for shopping mall also very close walk a nimute to there can shopping and many choice for food in this area
I have stayed in the Lucky Star numerous times and find the service good, the rooms clean and the place a great value for $12 per night. The rooms are large and air conditioned, the beds adequate and the doors lock. The sheets are clean and the maids keep the rooms in good shape.
The location isn't the greatest, but it is across the street from Olympic Stadium where I swim and run. I continue to stay here.
