Vor- und Nachteile halten sich ungefähr die Waage so dass der Aufenthalt ok war für die 5 Nächte.
Pros:

Unser Zimmer und unser Bad waren sehr sauber und das Personal an der Reception war freundlich und unkompliziert.
Wir haben jeden Morgen sehr gut in der Bäckerei an der Ecke gefrühstückt.
Dass die Metro Station grad neben dem Hotel ist, ist sehr praktisch.
Am letzten Tag konnten wir bis unser Zug fuhr auf den Sofas neben der Reception, die Zeit verbringen.

Cons:

Da es sehr heiss war, mussten wir mit offenen Fenstern schlafen und das war extrem laut wegen dem Verkehr. Wir konnten nur mit Ohropax schlafen, die wir zum Glück mitgenommen hatten. Als weiteren negativen Faktor für ein schwieriges Schlafklima waren die künstlichen Kissen, auf denen man sehr schwitzt, vor allem wenn es so heiss ist.
Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass das eine Gegend ist, in der auch obdachlose und/oder Menschen mit krimineller Energie präsent sind. Wenn man solche Begegnungen auf jeden Fall vermeiden möchte, muss man da kein Hotel buchen.

We stayed at the Margot for one night as we were catching a train the following day from Gare de Nord which is a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel met our requirements and expectations of the area. The room was a good size for Paris and it was clean. The bathroom was a decent size. There are eateries close by and a supermarket across the road.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fine.

Tout était bien, je venais juste pour dormir. L' environnement de la gare du Nord est anxiogène.

L'acceuil était très bien. Personnel sympathique et disponible.

Cons:

La chambre était très petite, ainsi que la salle de bain. Il n'y a pas de climatisation et la télé était déréglée.

Amazingly close to Gare du Nord.
Cons:

The room was roasting even though it was relatively cool outside. The fan provided (a Dyson) was largely ineffectual and a standard bladed fan would have been much better.

Als bijzonder onplezierig, nauwelijks kunnen slapen door de hitte in de kamer

De ligging vlakbij het station

Cons:

Bijzonder prijzige kamer voor bijzonder weinig comfort. Ik sliep op de bovenste kamer en het was er bloedheet (geen airco).
Verder had ik een ontbijt genomen, maar dat was kwalitatief bijzonder mager. Een croissant die smaakte als een meelbal en oud stokbrood.
