Comfortable overnight stay
Pros:

Very good service at check-in by friendly receptionst, off to a good start. Upgraded room a nice surprise, especially after Easter. Room was spacious with two double beds at either ends of the room with the bathroom in between. Bed was on the firm side, exactly how I like it. A lot of hotels are too soft. All the amenities you would expect were there and the bathroom was a huge upgrade on the room I stayed in last time I was here. East Melbourne is not the quietest suburb with trams, cars and emergency vehicles sounding at all hours, but this room was very quiet overall, with little noise from the outside world (or from neighbours!) If you get a good room like this one, Quest East Melbourne is great value and competitive.

Cons:

This was the response I got for my request to check in only 1 hr early, needless to say I didn't bother. They need to do better than this, but you be the judge: "While our standard check-in time is at 2 PM, we will do our best to have your room ready . However, please note that we cannot guarantee early check-in without a fee. If your room isn't ready upon your arrival, we would be happy to store your luggage for you." The fee bit really got me and lost them a 9 score, hence the 8.

Loved the quaintness, location, secure parking, roof top view. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Will def stay here again

Das Zimmer hatte eine sehr angenehme Größe. Lediglich das Bad könnte für sehr große Menschen vielleicht unangenehm sein. Für mich (165 cm) war es total ok.

Die Lage ist perfekt für Sightseeing-Touren. Tram direkt vor der Tür. Geschäfte und Cafés alle zu Fuß erreichbar

The staff members were very polite and helpful.

It was comfortable and in a great location.

Cons:

There were limited numbers of car parking spaces so we had to park on the street and keep moving the vehicle due to parking restrictions.

Pros:

Nice, clean and spacious room with comfortable pillows and bed. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee machine and kitchenette facilities. The wifi worked well. The motel was in a good location for our medical appointment.
