Good location, restaurant was excellent. Bed very comfortable and room warm with nice sea views
Stairs bit tight with suitcases.
Nice staff, very comfortable bed. Biscuits, hot chocolate and tea/coffee in the room. Had a lovely sea view room and hotel is just a few feet from the promenade 😊
The stairs are a bit cramped and steep when carrying bags.
Excellent location for the promenade. Very dog friendly. Delicious breakfast, even got fried bread which is rare nowadays. My dog was given his own sausage breakfast.
Amazingly you can book the included indoor pool for your private use.
All staff are friendly and helpful.
All good
Breakfast was ok. Bognor is no a nice are, thw hotel is located in the end
The bathroom was big with a low level access which is great. However, no shelf to rest body wash/shampoo. No anti slip matt & no grab rail. Quietl slippery & dangerous.
Friendly and helpful staff
The codes in the doors after 10pm and a few glasses of wine!
Excellent location , lovely breakfast
Food, rooms staff
Stairs
Friendly staff and very helpful!
Nothing all good!
Comfortable hotel on the seafront and walking distance to Bognor and surroundings. I had a sea view from my room (over a car park but nonetheless, it was a lovely sight to wake up to). Staff friendly, great breakfast with generous offerings, pool a bonus (small but I had to myself for 30 mins, which was a real treat). Will definitely go back when I am in the area
Steep stairs to second floor, tricky maneuvering bags
Friendly helpful staff and lovely light bright rooms!
Nothing! Although the code numbers on the front two doors after 10pm were not easy after a few glasses of wine!
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had to change rooms because my husband could not walk up 2 flights of stairs. Staff super helpful, changed our room and even checked up later that were happy.
Nothing
Belle vue sur mer.
Mais chambre au 2eme étage avec un escalier tres etroit, difficile avec des valises.
Chambre vieillotte. Certainement pas un 4 etoiles
We had a really enjoyable weekend stay overall. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome throughout. There was a minor issue with the room’s toilet not working properly, which was a bit inconvenient, but it didn’t overshadow the experience.
The hotel’s location and views were absolutely incredible and definitely a highlight of the trip. It has a lovely, cosy, family-run feel that truly felt like a home away from home. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the environment was, which made the stay even more special.
All in all, it is a great place for a relaxing getaway, with just a small area for improvement.
The toilet issue in our room was inconvenient during our stay. We also found it challenging that there were no phones available in the rooms, as this made it difficult to communicate with family members in other rooms, particularly with an older relative who doesn’t use a mobile phone. As a result, we weren’t able to report the toilet problem until the following day. Additionally, having more plug sockets or USB charging ports in the rooms would be a helpful improvement for charging devices.
As soon as we pulled up, the ocean view and garden seating area set a serene tone. Inside, the staff was warm, friendly, and full of good humor. The two bubbly ladies at the desk made us laugh and feel right at home—and then they upgraded us to a sea-view room! It was a perfect start to a relaxing stay."
The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a stunning ocean view and a lovely garden seating area. Inside, two friendly, bubbly staff members made us laugh and feel truly welcome, even upgrading us to a sea-view room. Room 54 was fantastic—queen-sized bed with super soft pillows, red bedding, and a convenient desk. Charging was easy, and the complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits, and sparkling water were thoughtful touches. The window opened fully, letting in fresh sea air. The bathroom, though modest, had a warm towel radiator and a great bath. Overall, it was a superb, relaxing stay
For our evening meal, we went down to the kitchen slash bar area and we got seated. Lovely open seating area, very clean, and you can tell that they take pride in their service.
The burger. Served on a lightly grilled brioche bun—soft yet structured—the meat was perfectly dense, moist, and easily 15mm thick. Crisp lettuce, tangy pickles, juicy tomato, and a rich sauce made each bite incredible. Accompanied by perfectly double-dipped fries—crunchy outside, fluffy inside—it was a memorable meal.
and the next morning, we had a private, professionally run swim slot—just us, in a perfectly temperate pool. Afterward, we enjoyed a spot-on breakfast.
After a refreshing morning swim, we headed to the dining room for breakfast. The table was set with marmalade, strawberry jam, honey, and butter. Fresh pots of tea were brought to our table, and a central stand offered fresh juices. Our cooked-to-order breakfast was phenomenal—flavorful Cumberland sausages, perfectly crisp bacon, free-range eggs with rich yolks, and golden fried toast.
Traditional, not overly fancy , very comfortable , great quality of food and drinks served very nice . Friendly and wonderful location right on the beach .
Room 43 seemed to experience quite a bit of noise in terms of machinery ( not sure what , sounded like loud tumble dryer but in the evening about 9pmwhich was strange )
The family beach hut we stayed couldn't be closer to the beach. It was well appointed, very comfortable and the staff had put on a lovely welcome.
The staff were professional and pleasant, they worked hard to give us a lovely stay. We took dogs who are very welcome, and we enjoyed a swim in the pool even though we'd technically checked out.
The outdoor bar menu for lunch wasn't massively appealing and price was a bit steep. £13 for an egg sandwich. I think it'll put people off which is a pity because it should be heaving with given the location. That's the only negative. The rest was great.
We upgraded to a beach hut room which was amazing.
Restaurant services a bit restrictive. Was able to book dinner for 8pm unaware kitchen closures at 8.15
Location and staff. Angus was so friendly and helpful.
Curtains were a bit shabby.
