Perfect Way to End our South American Adventure
Pros:

My husband and I wrapped up our vacation in La Barra, and Kala Hotel was absolutely perfect. It was within walking distance to the beach, offering the perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious, and we were well taken care of by the pool with refreshing wine and snacks. We also took their bikes to ride to José Ignacio, though in the heat, it wasn’t the most comfortable choice. Still, a memorable trip!

Best Boutique Hotel in Punta del Este
Pros:

This is one of the best boutique hotel that we have ever stayed in around the globe! The staff treats one as family, the rooms are spacious and very clean, the common areas are truly comfortable and beautiful, the breakfast is complete and delicious!

They bend backwards to make sure your stay is unforgettable!!!!

If we could we would live there all year round!!!!!!!

É uma ótima opção se tiver condução própria, pois embora esteja localizado a aproximadamente a 6 quadras do centro comercial de La Barra, são poucas as lojas e restaurantes que estão abertos no inverno; os restaurantes, no inverno, fecham de segunda a quarta feira e também no domingo a noite.
Apesar do problema da localização, o hotel é bem confortável, limpo, bom atendimento e café da manhã gostoso apesar da pouca variedade.

Great hotel, helpful staff, great location
Pros:

We loved this hotel and will go back. Front desk staff is very helpful and the rooms are nice. Flat screen TVs, hot tub, pool and sauna are all great. Breakfast is very good.

The front desk folks (especially Virginia) were very helpful in informing us of where to go, what to do and more. She even called a friend of hers to help me find a surf board if I wanted one. We traveled for two weeks in Argentina and Uruguay, and this hotel was probably the best part of our trip.

The hotel is expensive when compared to other options in La Barra and Punta del Este, but it's worth the pesos/dollars if you're into a nice boutique style hotel.

We'll go back...
