What an amazing luxurious property!!!!It was a pleasant stay..We loved every second of the stay at Grand Hyatt Goa..Our Kids enjoyed it so much..we got a very warm welcome there... got our rooms upgraded to suite rooms..and they did even decorate our rooms and gifted us a beautiful bouquet and a cake as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary..Loved staff service.. especially Riya .. Thank you Grand Hyatt Goa.. looking forward to visiting again

Positive aspects
We had an overall pleasant stay at the hotel. Our room was kindly upgraded upon arrival, which was a nice gesture, and the room itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of dishes. One small suggestion would be to improve the cheese and cold cuts selection, which felt slightly below the level normally expected at a Hyatt property. It would also be helpful if short descriptions of some dishes were provided, as many international guests may not be familiar with all the Indian breakfast options.
The staff deserves special recognition: they were dedicated, extremely helpful, respectful, and discreet throughout our stay.
A very special remark goes to the Guest Service Team, who were simply amazing. There are truly no words to fully express our gratitude for their professionalism, constant attention to detail, and their genuine care in supporting us throughout our stay. Their immediate action whenever something needed attention, as well as their willingness to go the extra mile to improve our experience, made a real difference. They are a credit to the hotel and to the standards associated with Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Negative aspect
During our stay the hotel was hosting a conference for an Indian multimedia company. The participants appeared to be predominantly male. One evening, when hotel guests and families with children were enjoying the swimming pool, a very large group (around 40–50 men) entered the pool area simultaneously.
They began playing water polo in the main pool, effectively occupying the entire swimming area. At the same time, their behavior around the pool — including staring at women present, changing clothes in shared areas, speaking loudly, and generally taking over the entire space — created a very uncomfortable environment for other guests.
As a result, many hotel guests, including families with children and couples, felt compelled to leave the pool area.
To be fair, the hotel staff did attempt to contain the situation, but the high number of conference participants that took over the area made it extremely difficult to manage effectively at that moment. The staff later approached guests and respectfully apologized for the situation. On the following day, when a similar situation seemed about to occur, the staff acted much more strictly and proactively, doing their best to anticipate and control the behavior and ensure the space remained comfortable for other guests.
While cultural differences in behavior are something hotel management cannot fully control, an international hotel of this level is generally expected to ensure that common leisure spaces remain comfortable and welcoming for all guests. Better management of large groups in shared recreational areas would greatly improve the experience for everyone.
For us as a couple — and for several other guests present — this situation was extremely unpleasant and not what we expected from a hotel that is internationally recognized for hospitality and guest wellbeing.
