The hotel staff were courteous, professional, and always ready to help. The overall cleanliness of the property was excellent, and all the facilities met expectations.

Cons:

However, there was an issue during checkout where I was asked to pay for minibar items that were not present in the room upon arrival. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and wasted time. The hotel should improve this process to ensure better accuracy and a smoother guest experience.

Fantastic service and hotel
Pros:

Everything as expected in a 5 star hotel. It was clean, comfortable and always service with a smile. On arrival we found out the pool wasn't in service and they really tried hard to find something to compensate for that, which we really appreciated. The room was great, very spacious and there was even a bath. Breakfast service, variety and quality was excellent. We've been travelling around for 2 weeks in India and this has been the best hotel we've stayed in.

The only small thing is there were wedding events around the hotel of which the sound proofing couldn't fully block out all the noise.

Special thanks to Shreya at front desk for her kindness and help in ensuring we had a great stay.

If we come back to Dehli we would happily stay here again!

Our Honest Experience With the Work Culture
Pros:

We want to share our collective experience because many of us faced the same issues. During our time at Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar, the work environment often felt extremely toxic and discouraging. We consistently felt overworked, pressured, and publicly spoken to in ways that left us embarrassed rather than supported.

Private conversations were rare; many discussions happened openly in front of others, creating fear instead of trust. Taking even a half-day off felt uncomfortable, despite official policies. Work–life balance was almost impossible, and the overall atmosphere left many of us mentally exhausted.

We also felt that favouritism affected fairness and teamwork. Instead of unity, it created tension and made the environment even more stressful. Many colleagues were afraid to speak honestly because doing so often felt unsafe.

We were shown high satisfaction scores, but they did not reflect what many of us were experiencing. A genuinely anonymous survey would give a more accurate picture of staff sentiment.

We are sharing this to highlight the reality many of us lived through. We hope future employees—especially those who rely on this work to support their families—will experience a healthier, more respectful workplace than we did.
