Little value for the money, but the staff are fantastic and deserve better!
Pros:

The staff are lovely, wonderful people! The room was decent looking but the furniture was all uncomfortable from the sitting chair to the desk chair to the bed. I think that the bed was two rollaway beds put together, and the mattress was the worst thing I've ever tried to sleep on (I think I slept about 1 hour total that night). They also put me right near the elevator so it was a bit loud that night, not that it mattered as the mattress was so awful I barely slept!

Cons:

In addition to the lack of comfort (bed, furniture), they only provided 1 small bottle of water so I had to purchase a large bottle of still water for 6 GBP and another small bottle the next morning for 3.75 GBP. I hadn't opted in for breakfast which is 22 GBP (I heard a gentleman complaining about the cost and he said he would just get something at the airport). They could offer the option of a less costly breakfast, half that cost, especially since a lot of people don't eat a large breakfast, they may just want fruit and yogurt rather than a full English breakfast). The third issue I have is with their room service - one word: ATROCIOUS. I looked at the menu and there were about 5-6 options, one of which was a Chicken Tikka Masala for 27.00 GBP, which I thought was ridiculous. I chose to get a Sandwich at 12 GBP which seemed like the most affordable option. The selection was not great to begin with, but I chose the Chicken Salad & Cucumber sandwich. When I rang room service they said that they didn't know what it said on the printed menu, but they did not have baguettes or ciabatta (both were options on the menu). They told me they had regular bread. When the sandwich arrived it was on the cheapest sandwich bread imaginable, and it was stale. No cucumber or anything else on the sandwich, just chicken and mayonnaise. The tiny pot of cole slaw was about 2 tbsp and it tasted like it was from Tesco, not homemade. The few tortilla chips they gave me were also stale. The little salad that came on the plate was decent, some nice greens, but they didn't offer pepper, salt or salad vinaigrette. The salad was not listed on the menu in the room so I didn't think to ask for vinaigrette and pepper. To add insult to injury, the 12 pound sandwich incurred a 5 pound surcharge for the privilege of having it delivered to my room. I did not go to the restaurant as they didn't open until 6 pm and I had to be up for a very early flight.

Fantastic hotel to start a holiday
Pros:

Only booked for a super early flight the next day but from check in to check out it was a fantastic decision. The staff are so lovely, the two gentleman on reception when we checked out were just what you need for a 3.30am start to the day! A taxi from hotel to departures was £12 but I believe there is also a shuttle bus option. Would absolutely book again.

First class stay close to the Airport
Pros:

The location to the Airport was what we required and we could travel to local areas as we required easily.

Cons:

I would like to say a very special thank you to the young lady on Resection the morning we left 05.00hr .. apologies for not remembering her name, our Flight had been moved to an earlier time and taxi was booked for a later time. She worked the phone continuous to arrange a car at very short notice and it arrived. So professional thank to her so so much . All staff excellent 👏 👍

Came to relax, use the pool and facilities and unwind not sure if I would go again.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Something for everyone

Cons:

The tea/coffee station in the room
"The black hole"
Dangerous is the word I would use. Too dark, no light at all , you couldn't see what you were doing. Too high, pouring boiling water into cups in the dark is dangerous.

The bed was hard as was the pillows.
Nice big bed though.

£15 per night to park the car !!!
