Spa nice, hotel not so nice.
Pros:

Spa was nice, hotel not. Staff in restaurant friendly

Cons:

Hotel really shabby, dirty stains on the bed sheets, walls, ceiling, curtains. Flies in the bathroom light, toothpaste stains from previous guest. Headboard was flaking off on the pillows, had to ask to change rooms which was accommodated, next room was better but still not great. Pillows were flat, may as well have not had any, mattress was solid. For a hotel advertised as “luxury” I was extremely disappointed. I’d been looking forward to this and a chance to relax from busy life but didn’t leave refreshed.

Pros:

Was here for 2 nights for my daughters and son in laws wedding and had a great time food was very good staff very friendly really nice place.

The rooms were very warm as there was over 20 of us there and most said the same

Enjoyable stay - improvement’s needed
Pros:

Spa facilities were good. The food was flavoursome. Staff friendly.

Cons:

I’m a pescatarian. First night no salmon starter or main. Same for second night, with the addition of no Thai fish cake starter. It’s not the biggest menu - so reduced my choices right down.

No vegetarian sausages available on the second morning.

Water in main pool was very cold. Parts of the spa looked in a state of disrepair and a couple of rooms were out of order.

Room was good. Evening meal was excellent. Breakfast good but set up strange with individual hot food items in cast iro
Pros:

Lovely location and grounds well kept. Room was clean and tidy.

Cons:

Tv was quite old but handset kept freezing and didn’t respond to buttons pressed. Stream running through the grounds smelled absolutely terrible and very unpleasant. Everything to enable you to make a hot drink was stuck in the wardrobe instead of being set up in the room.

Pros:

The resort is great with access to the onsite spa amenities. Fantastic location next to the canal which makes for a relaxing walk. Breakfast is buffet style with a large selection on offer.

Cons:

I would struggle to find a fault with our stay, to us it was a much needed welcome break.

Pros:

Really nice and professional people working at the reception and spa.

Room so spacious, modern and well equipped.

Spa facilities available after check out as well.

Well worth it.

Cons:

Spa need a bit of maintenance (there was light fixture hanging of the ceiling) jacuzzi Spa decorative stones popping off spot lights missing etc
