Not clean! Coackroaches running around in the room and halls. The rooms not clean enough.
Assistance from staff was outstanding, particularly at reception.
The staff were friendly and helpful: I booked the room for my 84-year-old mum. We had booked a previous hotel (the Diplomat in Bayswater Road), but the lift didn't go to her floor (which we only found out on the day) and wouldn't change her room. I couldn't have my 84-year-old mum walking down steep stairs without assistance. So, at very short notice and under stress, I found this room (only complaint: it was expensive) and they upgraded mum to a king-size bedroom at check-in when I told them of our stressful experience at the Diplomat hotel (which was good of them).

Location was good and easy to get to other tourist sights.

Short notice booking, really accomodating, clean rooms and nice staff.
No individual air con in the room. Central air con was a little noisey but really is a minor issue overall.

I like it but there were broken things in my room
Towel hooks, soap holders in showers etc . But totally fine
