Andromaco Palace Hotel

Very well located for car traveller (little hard to figure out old port entrance we missed it at first and had to take extra round of some km). Nice protected private parking and only 10 min walking to center. Very nice and helpful staff. A little old fashion but that is also cute. Very good and new AC. Only thing that room was not so soundproof from hallway. Nice to have swimming pool.

The breakfast was awful not a variety just biscuits and petty bits here and there this is not what you call a good buffet breakfast more of a joke no fruit at all very disappointed for the price i paid for 2 nights at this hotel. The amount i paid for no where reflects on what i received for breakfast.There is no fresh cooked breakfast. I was promised by a member of staff that they will request a cooked breakfast in the morning but they failed to deliver it. I was told that they dont have a chef and a cooked breakfast is not possible at all.
Over all disappointed.
The pool is a danger hazard with no signs of the depth of the pool no safety equipment in case a child gets in difficulty. The pool is approximately 9 feet deep with no signs for customers to make their own choice.

Ho trascorso due giorni in questo albergo insieme a mio marito e mio figlio...albergo tutto sommato comodo per la posizione, check-in veloce e personale abbastanza cordiale...nulla da eccepire. Il resto lasciava un po' a desiderare, la struttura e gli arredi sono piuttosto datati, la pulizia degli ambienti ridotta al necessario e la colazione decisamente da rivedere.

Greit hotell med alright frokost. Gode senger, men bråkete (gammelt) aircondition system. Fint basseng og grei beliggenhet i forhold til sentrum (15 min. å gå). Fin utsikt! Tidlig utsjekk. Har parkering like i nærheten! Kanskje ikke 3 stjerners standard.

The hotel is very nice and I would have given it a higher rating but the wifi was not working and I don't know how long it had been down. It was very inconvenient as we couldn't check on our next accommodation. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the main centre of town. The hotel has a car park down the hill and once you find the hotel and park you will not want to drive around Taormina! So if you need wifi check that it is working when you book.

Dont book this hotel. The only thing its good here its the view. Nothing else. If you like smell of cigarr and cigarettes Maybe you Can stay here.

I would recommend this place 100 times over. Extremely friendly and helpful. I don’t know why it is a 3 star. 5 in my books.

Ho soggiornato per un fine settimana e l’hotel ed il servizio sono stati veramente soddisfacenti

Air conditioning did not work well, so hot while in the room. The personel did not give us enough shampoo and gel shower for 5 days, we had to ask for (this is not acceptable for a hotel***). Very old furnitures and bathroom and not clean at all.
Related to the parking, one day we had to wait for the personel to move some cars (you have to leave the keys in the reception and some customers don't do it) so 20min until they "found" the owners of the cars: they offer more places in parking than they have.
Breakfast very poor.
In conclusion, if I had known all of these before I would have spent 20€ extra in a better hotel.
Not recommended.

Clean room, nice view, friendly staff, decent walking distance from city center. We'd stay there again if we decided to spend another night in Taormina!

Good place to stay. Great pool, good breakfast, nice room (stunning view). Only downside is that the place is a little bit off from the center but just a 15 min. easy terrain walk though.

The hotel is at a 15 minutes walk from the historic centre. Its great virtues are its friendly staff, parking (precious in Taormina), and good swimming pool. In the two days we were there, the air-conditioning did not work so well in the evening, although during the night it was fine.

This was an ok stay. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is actually about a 10 minute walk from downtown Taromina, but luckily there is not much of an elevation change walking to the town. The rooms were clean and except for the small shower rather decent sized, and had a balcony. No mini fridge in the room though. However the shampoo/soap/etc was not restocked, and had I not brought my own supplies I would have run out after 2 days. Also I think there were some sort of critters in the bed since I kept waking up with a lot more bug bites each day. The pool was nice, but the bar next to the pool was never open. Also the continental breakfast was decent if I arrived early in the morning, but it was never restocked and so if I came later in the morning there would be very few items left/available for breakfast. Overall this hotel was OK, but if I was to go back to Taromina I would probably try my luck at a different place in the future.

The hotel was good. It's located 10 min walk/hike from towncentre. The room we had with a balcony gave us an amazing view of the town and sea down below. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were nice however only one person spoke English to give information. Breakfast was ok. Know that wifi is offered but only in the lobby during the daytime. The hotel is located in a residental area and there are many dogs on patios that bark throughout the day and night. Overall our 3 night stay was pleasant. 3 stars
