Terrifically stylish and comfortable. The new Medusa isn’t just a place stay when you visit Sydney: it’s a destination all by itself.

Decor was beautiful & the room was well appointed. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Lots of nice restaurants close to the hotel, including a pub just across the road. Easy walking distance from Kings Cross station.

Loved everything about this hotel. It was warm, welcoming,and very accessible. It felt safe with the key pad entry and the staff were always close at hand with any requests for any additional item which might help. A very clean hotel too. Overall I cannot think of a better place to stay and we will definitely be back for another visit.

Nice boutique hotel, really well positioned. I had top floor room so a couple of flights of stairs - didnt really worry me as ai didny have much luggage - but could be a barrier for others

Absolutely fabulous stay. Great location with easy access to transportation, dining, shops, etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room with everything we needed. A few nice touches here and there too. Highly recommend!

Great boutique style property, like a great big house with rooms and en-suites. Great older style hotel with lovely interiors, however it is in need of an upgrade, particularly the bathrooms, due to mould and flaky plaster etc. Cleanliness is also lacking in both the bathrooms and bedrooms.
On our arrival, we booked a transfer to the airport for our Sunday checkout and when we went to confirm on the Saturday, we were told by another staff member, that they don't do checkouts on a Sunday.
Even with these issues, we would probably stay again, as I like a small style hotel, staff are lovely and it's in a great location.

Even though the furniture is now a little tired, it is still much nicer than your standard cookie cutter hotel design. Very welcoming and accommodating. Can’t wait to visit again once refurbished! Thanks Team Medusa for a great stay

Staying here is an absolute pleasure. The hosts are just amazing, so friendly. Went above & beyond to make our stay that bit extra special. Very welcoming, clean & comfortable. I stayed with my teen daughter this place was Insta heaven for her. Great location. Easy uber everywhere. Highly recommend.

Close to CBD. If walking back to Hotel, be advised it is all uphill to Darlinghurst from CBD.
We loved the super comfortable bed and the luxury Aesop body & hand wash liquid soap.

Nice little boutique hotel in a great quiet neighborhood

Loved the interior of the hotel ( although the style was in need of some updating), overall very comfortable. I was in a large room on the ground floor. Be aware that it’s an old building with creeks and noises so ear plugs if you are sensitive. The staff were friendly and helpful and the position was perfect.

Very friendly hotel with professional staff.

Perfect . Top location in a safe area , lots of great restaurants and cafes . Easy access from airport by train , and to the city by bus, train or a 20 minute walk . Hotel is in a beautiful, large terrace . Very welcoming reception staff , who escorted me to my room , 206.... and what a room . First floor at the front , full width of the terrace with a balcony overlooking the street . Contemporary , comfortable , bespoke furniture and fittings . I turned the aircon off , and with plenty of fresh air through the louvred french doors , I had the best night's sleep . I had the enjoyed the experience at the Medusa Hotel , and look forward to my next stay . Thanks guys . 😊
