Good stay but a few issues.
Pros:

Good location, decent bed seems clean was nice having sky despite not having most of the good channels the bar and restaurant downstairs looked great. The room was very warm.

Cons:

There was a strong smell of weed when we entered our room and outside back entrance of the hotel think it was from a room downstairs.

Not really the hotel's fault but the people in the room next to us were very noisy and came back at 2:30 am drunk making a noise, singing and kept me up till about half 4 talking loudly. The room wasn't very noise proof.

A very comfortable stay
Pros:

Stayed at the Dovedale for 2 weeks on business, absolutely fantastic hotel. Great breakfast, lovely room and the staff constantly went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you, highly recommended.

Dovedale Hotel is a great choice for a short stay in Cleethorpes
Pros:

Good location. Nearby parking. Clean and as quiet as can be reasonably expected. Nice staff, smooth check in. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Really minor stuff… I like to have a lock on bathroom doors, room warmer than it needed to be, a few choices for a bowl of cereal as a breakfast ‘starter’ would have been nice but overall a super place.

Not the best room but rest was 10/10

Cons:

We got put in room 29 on ground floor
As soon as we entered we seem to get a strong smell of wet dogs. Or a damp smell . The shower was better than the other rooms but the the bed was so hard and could not get to sleep most of the night. We will definatly be going back but not in room 29

Expensive for what we expected.
Pros:

Staff were all pleasant and friendly. However the room was extremely small and very grubby. Parts of the room looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner for a while the window sill wasn't the cleanest. If I'm totally honest we were expecting a bigger room for two adults and two children. The room was small and very basic . The evening was awful it was extremely hot well over 30C and no cooling facilities. The breakfast staff were very helpful and very efficient when serving the food. And the choices were fine. The quality of food was acceptable and quiet filling for our small appetites.
