The staff were great, breakfast was tasty. There was no TV in the room because the owner does not agree. There was not clear during reservation

Clean, close enough to walk to town and beach, but far enough away to be quiet and private.

Ett mycket trevligt och personligt hotell på lagom avstånd till det mesta. Härligt poolområde, rummet är ett eget hus med individuell inredning och personalen är mycket servicevänlig, trevlig och engagerad. Rätt miljö för en avkopplande semester vid det fantastiska strandområdet kring Santa Teresa.

Wonderful small hotel just 3 minutes outside of the town of Santa Teresa. My husband, my 10 year old son and I really appreciated being able to return to this quiet, lush, comfortable spot after a full day in town / at the beach / exploring the area. It is super convenient and has the best pool with great ambient music and cabanas with long curtains. Its not a resort-sized pool; more like the best backyard pool that you could imagine, surrounded by tropical beauty. Individual bungalows provide great privacy. Mattresses are firm with good pillows. Breakfasts are very good too. If the room had a small dresser to help us stay organized, it would be perfect. Other spots have direct beach access or ocean views. If that is not critical feature, this place is a dream.

Spent 5 days at this lovely quiet hotel. Staff was fantastic and very helpful.Very relaxing setting. Pool was a perfect size. Felt very safe. The breakfasts were amazing and delicious. No view of the ocean but no incline from the road. They can arrange fantastic excursions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed about a week. Nice pool, good breakfast, helpful management and staff. would go again.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in Strandnähe und wird tip top in Schuss gehalten. Überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Üppiges, gutes Frühstück. Es gab nichts zu meckern.

Nous avons adoré l'hôtel mais pas la plage de Santa Teresa, beaucoup trop de gens et plutôt sale. Favoriser la Playa Hermosa à 15 min en voiture. Par contre les restaurants de Santa Teresa étaient excellents.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel. Wir hatten nur eine Nacht gebucht, blieben dann aber 3. Sehr sauber und schönes Bungalow. Das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Restaurants liegen gut zu Fuss in der Nähe.

We had a great time at The Place. Everyone there went out of the way to make our stay comfortable and helped with all our day trips and offered recommendations. The pool and courtyard were great after a day in the sun. We'd definitely go back.

What a fantastic gem! Perfect location, beautiful rooms, absolutely WONDERFUL staff...it honestly could not be more perfect. My husband and I have been coming to the Nicoya Peninsula for years, and this is the first place we've stayed that brings together each detail we love about Costa Rica and this area. Bliss!

What can I say apart that this is a great and lovely hotel. We had a perfect stay. The bungalows are absolutely charming; as is the hotel. The swimming pool and the garden are a little paradise and everything is clean and well maintained. You can even enjoy local product for shower. In addition the staff as well as the owner are very kind and always helpful. There is a large choice of breakfast. I highly recommend you to stay here; the place is quite and really peacefull and totally worth the moderate price; and to enjoy a cocktail by the pool. Thanks again to the staff for such nice welcome !

The room was very clean, nicely decorated and the included breakfast was good. The room was small and the shower leaked.

This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and our plan was to see as much of the area as possible! This hotel was perfect for that. The room was simple and had no TV, which we actually enjoyed not having. I'm petty certain our bed was two twin beds pushed together, because you could feel the seam, but it didn't hinder our sleep, we just laughed about it. The bathroom was clean and simple. The continental breakfast was also simple, but delicious. We ate it most days to save money. Each day we woke up, ate, and then left for the day only coming back to change to go back out for dinner. We did lounge by the pool a few times for an hour or so, just to recharge. The pool was small, but perfect for us to lounge beside. The ocean is a short walk away so the pool wasn't a big draw for us in the first place when booking. The staff were great, they greeted us each time we came and went, asking how our day was going. It was the perfect little oasis during our very busy time in Costa Rica :)
