Comfortable lovely stay
Pros:

The location is great and the room size is generous. I appreciated getting a choice of room as well. Breakfast was hot and delicious.

Cons:

The bed was not particularly comfortable and there was a big step up to the bathroom. As someone who suffers from vertigo, this was a bit of a safety concern.

Would definitely stay again and praise should be given to the young staff
Pros:

Staff were excellent. Room was large as was the bathroom. Very good breakfast.Parking just across the road. Close to town centre

Cons:

A very minor thing. The room we had was above the pedestrian crossing so quite noisy throughout the night

Very happy with the Castle and I would definitely like to return
Pros:

A nice warm welcome from the staff; an excellent single room for me and a very good breakfast; location very handy for local amenities; my group of 7 all enjoyed the stay; we were very well placed for local walking.

Cons:

I had concerns over the parking but that turned out to be fine; a bit of traffic noise at the front of the building early morning, but that was not a big issue for our group.

Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Wonderful and welcoming host. Upgraded us to a superior room which was lovely Newly decorated and spotless. Explained parking and local sites. He couldn't do enough. Invited us to call back in once we had checked out if we needed anything. Brilliant. Lovely breakfast too.

I stayed with friends for the one night. Very pleased to have stayed at the Castle Hotel.
Pros:

All the meals were excellent. The room was new as was the bedding, shower, basin and WC.
