The location and friendly staff
Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable. Friendly. Good food. Good atmosphere.
All was good.
We loved the courtyard room although it was very humid during the night and the fan was helpful bit a bit old
A better fan and more than one tiny little bottle of water each
As resident of Woburn who has been a patron of this Hotel in its many guises over the and most recently entrusting the Hotel to my daughters wedding last July, I was horrified and disappointed with the service of the Manager on last Friday. Having been asked to to leave our outside seating to go inside as this is policy after a certain time, we were unable to find an inside table that was not covered in dirty plates and glasses. We asked if someone could clear a table for us and then we sat down. We were then approached by the manager who thought we had complained about being directed inside. We pointed out this was not the case and rather than apologise for his mistakes, he doubled down and complained about us complaining when they have been so busy ! When I stood up to explain that he perhaps should have cleared the tables before he asked us to come inside he told me, ‘to get out of his face and leave’
When I pointed out that this was his mistake, he again told us to leave or he would call the police. We finished our over priced drinks and then left and will never set foot in the premises again.
Our friends are also Woburn residents and regular patrons of the Hotel and we all agreed that the managers over reaction to a simple request to clear a table was both inappropriate and quite honestly juvenile.
Easy booking and check in, quality toiletries and drinks provided in the room. The room was clean and well presented. The restaurant and bar were welcoming with a good selection of food and drink.free parking

The location was perfect very central, plenty of parking and easy location for where we were going the following day
Nothing
I was on the ground floor so couldn't leave my windows open (it was a hot day), a fan was provided. The window fitments were rather worn with no locks.
There was a shower curtain which wasn't very effective. The pillows were very hard.
Poppers found in fridge also used drink, bin had rubbish in complained long time ago never got anything back but if it was cleaned properly it would of been a nice stay
Staff were friendly. Location was lovely and room was clean and spacious
Only the fact i was not there longer..
The location was ideal.
The breakfast was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for it to arrive and when it did it was cold. The food had clearly been standing and inedible
Fantastic location. We could walk to the deer park and a selection of different restaurants nearby. Lovely courtyard outside the hotel with great service and kind staff. Clean rooms. Everything we wanted and needed including tea/coffee facilities. Would recommend.
