Great location , lovely staff . Wonderful breakfast
Nothing
Location was fantastic in the quaint village with lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from.Breakfast was option of pay for a set menu or pay for buffet that included a hot option.Hotel has a bar and nice beer garden.Rooms have tea coffee water all the usual stuff on offer can get a little warm at night but they provide fans and has a room safe.Overall lovely stay at the Woburn.
Nothing cant fault it value for money.
The location is great and the courtyard is a plus. Also the bed was huge and very firm but comfortable. The menu was good too.
The rooms are dated and not particularly clean, especially the bathroom was just filthy and in need of updating.
Room was nice
The staff at the bar are rude and waiting for a drink took so long i could have had a sleep and woke up and still waiting..... how hard is it to just poor you a larger instead of putting your ticket at the end of the queue very bad service will never stay here again
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable especially the pillows
Had a considerable wait at the bar to be served drinks. The money was taken quickly but the drinks then took a while to be served. Had to go and eat elsewhere in Woburn as we couldn’t get a table in the restaurant and at breakfast the bacon and beans were luke warm. Considering the money charged, I expected better.
Everything made it a lovely stay. Will stay again
Clean, great staff, really good food.
Reception staff were fantastic- very helpful
Close proximity to woburn safari
Very reasonable price for the size & quality of the room
The breakfast was average
Location is nice with good car parking.
- room windows caked in mould around window frame ledge and inside the window
- floor not clean
- dinner was over cooked steak, poatoes not dauphined properly just cheese on top
- bath taps old mould surrounding
- hair in the bath plug and smelt of drainage
Lovely hotel in a very quiet village
Brilliant central location & attentive reception & bar staff. Comfortable bed.
We hadn’t booked b&b but chose to eat at the hotel the first morning. We were seated in the less cosy dining area near the kitchen when there were tables elsewhere & promptly told we were not to use the buffet breakfast bar but only had choice from the menu. The food was only adequate & a granola dish was served alongside a sandwich - would’ve been nice to have first as the sandwich became cold.
We stayed two nights & were asked to sort our ‘tab’ for the first night & start a new one the next day. It wasn’t an issue, but we’ve never been asked to do this before!
The bedroom was cold on arrival & the tea tray wasn’t the cleanest.
It’s in a great part of the town . Vert good parking as well . The hotel public areas and the restaurant / bar areas are smart and stylish
The restaurant staff were very helpful .
The bedroom felt a bit tired . Bathroom & shower areas as well could do with a refurbish
We did arrive quite late to be met by a member of the restaurant team who was clearly too over stretched to be pleasant and helpful .
The restaurant menu was very limited and felt more like very average pub grub than restaurant standard . Poor pizza and average aubergine burger with skinny chips .
Would not choose this hotel again .
