Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und haben uns rundum Wohl gefühlt . Danke schön dafür.
Das Hotel macht seinen Namen alle Ehre, wir hatten eine perfekte Aussicht vom Zimmer aus.
Die Zimmer sind hell, sauber und geräumig, da gibt es nichts zu meckern.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichlich und der Frühstücksraum sehr gemütlich, mit einer ebenso schönen Aussicht.
Der Ort und die Umgebung bieten sehr viele Möglichkeiten für jedermann, man kann sehr viel unternehmen zu jeder Jahreszeit.
Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, spontan, hilfsbereit, umgänglich und hat für alle Gäste jeden alters ein offenes Ohr.

Kalte Etagenbäder sind nicht so empfehlenswert. Sehr netter Hotellerie und netter Frühstücksraum.

Check-in von 16:00 - 18:00 Uhr, wir kamen um 17:30 Uhr an. Die,, Rezeption" ( ein kleiner Tisch ) auf dem die Gästeliste offen herumlag, war nicht besetzt. Nach einer vergeblichen Suche nach einem Hotelmitarbeiter / in benutzten wir die Klingel an der Eingangstür, diese verband uns an eine Mail - Box. Als nach ca. 10 Min. eine Dame erschien und uns mitteilte, dass wir kein Doppelzimmer bekommen, da Expedia wohl falsch gebucht hatte, wurde uns ein Einzelzimmer mit einem ausziehbarem Bett angeboten.
Nachdem wir keine Möglichkeit sahen ein anderes Hotel um diese Zeit zu finden, haben wir uns für das Einzelzimmer entschieden. Das ,,Zimmer" ca. 3 x 3 Meter mit einem Fenster, dass zu 2/3 in der Höhe mit Folie abgeklebt war glich eher einer Zelle.
Diesen Umständen geschuldet haben wir kurz nach dem Check-in das ,,Zimmer" bezahlt ( 85.- € o. Frühst. ). Um 6:45 Uhr haben wir dieses Haus verlassen, eine schöne Aussicht sieht anders aus.

We loved our stay! Great breakfast, oustanding view, quiet room. Friendly staff.
Its up above town just a few minutes. One morning we heard cow bells from a filed about 100 meters from the hotel and walked over to see them. Bring shampoo cause there was none in the bath as far as I could tell, but thats something we carry along anyway. Parking was easy just across the road from the front door.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is not your typical hotel. It is very unique with absolutely magnificent views. Lacks elevator, but steps are not drastic. Beds are very comfortable and breakfast was good and plentiful. Sarah, the hostess with the mostess; she is great, helpful and accommodating to all guests. We would most certainly return when back in GP. Definitely good , honest rating more like 4.2 - 4.3.

Das Hotel sieht von aßen ersteinmal nicht so aus, als könnte man dort ein gemütliches Zimmer vorfinden. Doch schon im Empfangsbereich stellt sich Gemütlichkeit ein. Die Hotelchefin war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Das Zimmer genau so wie auf den Bildern dargestellt - saubere Handtücher, Seife, hübsch gemachte Betten inklusive. Und das wichtigste: Die wirklich schöne Aussicht. Diese ergibt sich einem sowohl von allen Zimmern aus, als auch vom gemütlichen Frühstücksraum. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen, sogar frisches Rührei gibt es auf ausgesprochenen Wunsch hin.
Lediglich einen Aufenthaltsraum für Nachmittags oder abends fehlte uns. Man hat nur das kleine Zimmer und den Balkon. Eine Lounge o.ä. wäre schön gewesen. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden wieder kommen!

Nice place tucked in residental area, though slanted roof was a bit of a pain. Had problems checking in as they were not there during check-in hours and used a automated key dispenser that you need to phone in to get the code for. Great views, fast wifi, good breakfast with a few extras (smoked salmon) compared to standard.

Sehr freundlicher Service, alles ist sauber und gepflegt, gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, eine wirklich schöne Aussicht und ein Frühstück mit frischem Obst, frisch zubereitetem Rührei sowie insgesamt einer gute Auswahl.

Schöne Aussicht. Da macht das Hotel seinem Namen alle Ehre. Leider wurde bei den Werbefotos für dieses Hotel nicht gesagt das ich mir das Bad/Toilette mit mindestens 6 Personen teilen muss und das auch noch über den Flur ist. Dafür war das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis unpassend. Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und man kann von da aus viel unternehmen.

We stayed only for one night. An excellent breakfast was included with the reservation.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and access to the town was down a very steep hill. Parking in Garmisch is not cheap.

We really wanted to like the place. Especially the first room we got was really nice, with a wonderful bathroom. As it turned out, it was really good that the bathroom was as big as it was.
As the name implies, the view was also really nice.
Unfortunately a little bit into the night we discovered bed bugs in the bed. Having only slept for about 90 mins, they had already swarmed and worked on feeding on the banquet provided (us).

We aborted the sleep mission for the moment, and moved to the bathroom to disinfect our clothes and take a shower. We tried reaching the hotel staff to hopefully get another room, but noone picked up at the number we had (from the notes on near the entry area).

Bedbugs can happen in the best of hotels, what makes a difference is how to handle the situation. In the morning we were moved to another room and re-assured that they will handle the cleaning fees for our clothes.

While we didn’t have to pay for the night we spent in the bathroom (we did pay for the other night), they didn’t pay for our cleaning fees (it was a different person and he said he couldn’t do anything about that).

Considering the extent of the infestation, it seems that either no-one had been in that room for a long time and the rooms are not regularly checked, or the previous guests didn’t care or notice. Although that seemed hard to believe, as we could see droves of bugs running around on the bed in the night.

We checked in over the telephone. This was not a problem, as we had our mobiles with us. The view is the best, as well as the quietness. It's a nice walk into the town, although it is on a hill. I highly recommend this Hotel and it's breakfast.

This is one of the most beautiful views ive ever seen. Eating breakfast on the patio looking out at the mountains was worth booking this hotel alone. Amazing view. Only negative thing was the wifi is fairly weak.

I go to hotel at 5pm but hotel is close.It has note in front of hotel the phone no of reception to call to but I call about 1 hr but no body recieve call then I cannot checkin my room and then I go to the town and find another hotel. It very terrible to find hotel when rainny.
